The Dollar value of the of the Contract has a lot to do with it.Maybe a third. The comp picks are awarded based on a combination of players signed and players lost who count toward the compensation formula, so you don’t know until next year about this time.
lol. multiple 1000 yards receiver is a one trick pony. i could understand if it was argued injury prone but far from a one trick pony.
You shouldn't post you are wasting everyones time with this shit. Cooks is a great player not a one trick pony. He had 4 straight years of over 1100 yards and around 80 catches. He and Woods always made clutch hard catches. He is a deep threat but all the receivers in McVays offense run the deep routes.
If your going to post study the player know his stats - don't waste our time otherwise.
This may sound harsh but a player has a down year due to unlucky hits causing a series of concussions and we write him off just wrong. He still had 42 catches and over 500 yards even though he missed a bunch of games.
Great receiver, great locker room guy, grinder great in the community.
If the economics of his deal doesn't work for Demoff and Snead now I get that and that is another discussion, but he will bounce back this year.
Most of all we have the best trio of wrs in the league I would not want any other combo period.
.
Lol I wouldn't be opposed..
Please be true. Arians trading for two injured players and eating their bad contracts would be so sweet. Heck maybe he’ll take advice from Bill O’Brien and give the Rams Shaq in return.
ILB have been to small for the rams since Williams was the DC. It is time we got bigger in the middle. Stop putting DBs as LB.Littleton wasn't a good run defender.
Aww I hurt your feelings.
Cooks is so great that he was traded twice. He fits a role and neither team felt he’d be worth eventually giving him the contract that he’d want, so they got out while the getting was good.
If you don’t like it then don’t waste your time continuing to read it, or continuing the conversation with replies. It’s nonsensical.
I don't agree with you. Cooks does everything well except YAC and avoiding concussions.
ya it's about stinkin time we had a thumper in the middle. JLau was supposed to be that, but somehow wound up chasing guys down from behind all the time. I want a big stinkin MLB / ILB to clog that middle & shut down edges.ILB have been to small for the rams since Williams was the DC. It is time we got bigger in the middle. Stop putting DBs as LB.
I would think, that any trade regarding either TG or BC would have us eating a bunch of that salary..

And they'll probably get shredded in the passing game.ILB have been to small for the rams since Williams was the DC. It is time we got bigger in the middle. Stop putting DBs as LB.

Cooks health is a concern for sure.Even some would be better than all. Cooks is one hit to the head from missing another season or retiring. Gurley turned into a better version of Malcolm Brown. The Rams need to get out from under their contracts, or at least part of their contracts.
A little pessimistic. They have good DBs. Let's see what they come up with for pass rushers. And they'll probably get shredded in the passing game.
...Unless he thinks he can prove to be smarter than the Rams in how he uses them and get results.I wouldn't believe anything you hear regarding the Bucs. No way that tam wearing asshat gives the Rams any satisfaction of dumping damaged goods onto his precious roster.
I also dislike his catch radius and he's very average with contested catches.I don't agree with you. Cooks does everything well except YAC and avoiding concussions.
