That is just really smart to plan for all things, but if a player drops to you that has tremendous value, and fit, you take him. Either the player we really liked got picked, or there are player(s) we like, we think will be there, with the bonus of picking up anther third. I like it.

I agree. So long as we don't hear more stories like the Bobby Wagner pick... Still irks me to this day.

They have a bunch of expensive players, and Goff is going to cost a ton, while starting out without a lot of picks.

After this season both starting CBs, 2 starting OL, their top Edge rusher, their top ILB, their backup QB, and their starting TE are free agents. They also need a 1b RB and depth all over. I trust Snead to get guys who can be developed in a year to be quality starters, drafting in the top half of the draft. Some of the Rams free agents will be signed - but not all of them. This should prevent a FA apocalypse for the Rams after 2019
