With the 121st selection in the draft the Buffalo Bills select Tony Adams, G North Carolina State
6_5497282.jpg

After already adding Crosby and Ragnow to the O-line in this draft and hearing of Incognito's retirement, adding Adams to the Bills is a no brainer. Adding these 3 guys along with Dawkins from last year gives the Bills a bright future to build on to protect Mayfield and open up holes for Shady and Penny for years to come.

NFL Comparison
Josh Sitton
Overview
Three-year starter who lacks length, but carries a powerful, compact frame. Adams plays with plus balance and body control and it's rare to see him fall off of blocks. As a youth tennis player until the age of 15, Adams has developed above average footwork for a big and has the play traits to fit into any run scheme. His lack of length will concern some teams, but he's talented enough to become a solid NFL starter fairly early in his career.
Strengths
  • Carries burly lower half and good overall girth
  • Leader of a well-schooled offensive line
  • Good initial quickness
  • Fluid skip-pull gets him down the line and looking for his target
  • Consistent finding his block and makes adjustment to find work if needed
  • Athletic fit for Wolfpack's outside zone
  • First contact is always balanced
  • Plus body control
  • Able to connect and swing his hips into position to seal on outside zone
  • Scheme diverse fitting zone, gap or power blocking schemes
  • Initial hand placement is very good
  • Pass sets are balanced with punch-read hands
  • Punch is quick and sharp
  • Adequate mirror with ability to redirect against counters
  • Penalized just twice over last two seasons
  • Has worked at center

The L.A. Rams and Philadelphia Eagles announce a trade ...

Rams get DE Chris Long back so he can finish out his career and retire as a Ram while hunting another Super Bowl ring, and the Eagles receive 23 year old DE Morgan Fox.

With pick 122 in the 2018 ROD Mock Draft the Kansas City Chiefs select ...

Luke Falk , QB, Washington State

Height: 6-3. Weight: 211. Arm: 32.13. Hand: 9.38.
Projected 40 Time: 4.79.

Falk completed 67 percent of his passes in 2017 for 3,593 yards with 30 touchdowns and 13 interceptions. Some team sources are intrigued with Falk as they like his pocket-passing potential, accuracy and confidence.

In speaking with scouts, they say that Falk has an above-average arm. While his accuracy is his best strength, he does have issues seeing coverage and will throw into it. The same sources also label Falk as a thin-framed player who will need to add weight for the NFL. Additionally, Falk lacks escapability and mobility, but sources compared him to Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins.

The Chiefs did sign Chad Henne as a backup to Mahomes but Falk will compete and will make backup or third string and is an opportunity to good to pass up at 122.

Fox is still only 23 and Long is definitely retiring after the year. Fox isnt a world beater but I think he could still be solid in a rotation if given more opportunity, not to mention a lower cap hit and the Eagles acquired Michael Bennett to replace Long anyway (y) , This was the thinking on the Eagles pulling the trigger. Besides why wouldnt I let Long retire a Ram? lol

With so many new guys in the locker room, Rams respect Chris Long's leadership skills, ... and his two rings will raise the bar, even at 33 he still gets the job done in a rotational role. Good trade by both parties.

Lol. Rams just extended Hekker to squeeze out some cap room but they will pick up Long's 3+ mill even though Fox at 500k can out produce him? Lol, thank god this is a mock.....

And no way in heck would we trade Jamon Brown to a divisional rival.

Just is not happening.

This is a true fantasy mock :)

But I still love it.

2017 Overall DE PFF grade for Chris Long - 82.5
Fox - 59.1

Long ranked #30 in the NFL, Fox ranked #101.

If fortunate, the still very young Fox will have a long career as a rotational player, Long comes in as a short term player to help bring the Rams a Super Bowl win. The Rams are in Super Bowl mode !

The Rams have now acquired OC/OG Ryan Groy & DE Chris Long by way of trade,
Edge Rusher Jeff Holland in the 3'rd round, and
OT/OG - Geron Christian & FS Tarvarius Moore in the 4'th round

I want 4 more players but only have 2 draft picks remaining, what's a poor boy to do ?
