SPARQ highly rate players have an amazing rate of failure in the NFL.Ward was a Great Pick, SPARQ scores aren't the end-all, be-all. But they are a good indicator, and come in handy in the 4th-5th-6th and 7th rounds! As a rule, IF the players SPARQ score isn't " 100 or above" they will take some work to become an NFL quality player!! I think Ward is an exception!! JMHO

With the #111 pick of the 2018 NFL ROD Mock Draft the Denver Broncos select
Micah Kiser, ILB, Virginia

You bastards. Needed a LB or CB but you have snapped up my dudes for this range and left me needing to take a non-need BPA: Armani Watts, S, Texas A&M.
Smaller S who likes to hit people and has some pretty good ball skills.
I see that in 1st and 2nd round picks. But not so much in mid and Later round picks! Cooper Kupp for a more recent example!SPARQ highly rate players have an amazing rate of failure in the NFL.
With the 110th pick of the 2018 Draft the Raiders select Kalen Ballage, RB, Arizona State. With Beast Mode being Beast Mode and 31, and Doug Martin being benched the last 2 games and 29, the Ray-duhhhzzz need a successor to Beast Mode.
Kalen is a power running back who will run over and through tacklers. A guy not afraid of contact:

I saw an article that went into a lot of depth about them. Top 50 sparq guys rarely make an NFL team year 2. The next 50 has a much better success rate, but by then you're getting into guys that are top 3 round picks. For example last years top 10 SPARQ QB's.I see that in 1st and 2nd round picks. I could be mistaken but only Dobbs actually made a team. Running back's not much better.

Obvious 1st round pick McCaffery, Kamara of course who surprisingly fell in the draft and Breida who did decent for the Whiners. WR again just not that good. You mention Kupp he was 87th on the WR list.

SPARQ has a lot of work to do before it's taken seriously IMO.
Well all I know is that Snead has been quoted for years as saying he likes to use them in Player evaluation. specifically looking at Long & Short shuttle scores and the 3-cone Drill scores! And he said he used them a lot in the selection process in 2017 Draft! Which by all accounts was a XLNT Draft by the Rams!I saw an article that went into a lot of depth about them.
