.. remember I am a remodeler.. just tell her that we're going to do some construction stuff, and throw out some terms like lateral bracing, extension jambs, collar ties etc

Lol

I need to rip up carpets and put down a laminate floor. One that looks like hard wood. It’s 585sq feet. How much and you can have the place for a weekend too. Literally ocean front. The beach is your front yard lol.

I hope you are right but I actually like the Blues in this series. Blues play very heavy and that is a good way to beat the Bruins. They also have more speed and that gives the Bruins defense fits. Columbus plays a similar style and really outplayed Boston most of that series through 4 games. Rask stole a game and then for some reason Columbus completely ran out of gas and stopped hitting. Once they stopped Boston took control of the series. Blues are not going to run out of gas. Biggest asset the Bruins have is their resiliance.

See I've always felt discipline and speed is how you beat the Bruins. Going back to when I was a kid lol. It's how the Habs have always had success against them, anyway. Bruins bullied them last night.

Of course I saw it differently.

Blues had it going until the parade to the penalty box halted their momentum.

Binnington could easily steal one in Boston, the way he’s playing.

How many Bruins will end up injured, like Chara?

They had it going till Boston scored the first goal and frankly I thought the play was pretty even although St. Louis had a 2-0 lead. After Boston scored it was over.

Binnington totally could but the 2nd goal he gave up was a softie.

Boston can survive some injuries as they have nice depth.

I have no doubt the Blues bounce back strong tonight though.

Binnington should have been given a hooking or obstruction penalty for that play on Marchand.... and then after he loses hours stick he pulls his own facemask stopping play? Seen that called as delay of game before

That was a fantastic, competitive, feisty game.

I’m excited for the series.

It’s more evenly matched, than has been portrayed, maybe? And they don’t like one another.

Another couple weeks of high-level hockey will be terrific.

And, go Blues!

Was a great game. We might be looking at two of the most resilient teams. Game 3 should be a thriller.

I don’t like the Sundqvist suspension.

2:00 in the box, OK, but no suspension.

It’s an awkward hit, Grelczk was in a weird position and was leaning down which made the hit look high.

Player safety are reacting to the result where he’s laid out.

Stupid

Just like Pavelski against LV, awkward hit and he fell badly off balance.

Gotta beat the zebras, too.

They are likely reacting to the results. Boston is losing a top 4 defenseman for the series as he is in concussion protocol. Big take away though is the players back was turned, which is automatic and he rammed his forearm into the back of his head and drove his head into the glass. I dont think it was a cheap shot per se but it was kind of a dumb player. 1 game seems right.

There really is nothing awkward at all. Grzelcyk has his backed turned the entire time. From the face off circle in, he has his back to Sundqvist.

That's not the best still, however, Grzelcyk is bent awkwardly at his hips, as though he changed his mind on where he was going a millisecond before he hit the boards and prior to Sundqvist's impact, which is shoulder not elbow.

Not saying its not a penalty, but a suspension is overreacting.

We have a different opinion.

That pic is after his face was smashed against the glass. Watch the video dude, it was a bad hit.

St Louis is playing fiesty, just like when Krug got mauled by Perron. Its ok, its hockey, its fun to watch, but Sundqvist hit was a bad hit.

Sometimes when things get physical bad hits happen and players get hurt, I dont think Sundqvist was trying to concuss the player or deliberately hurt anyone, but it was a bad play and suspendable. He made a mistake, still dont make it right. Not sure how you defend that. It was a fair call and nobody is calling him a cheap shot artist but if the jerseys were swapped you would be saying it should be a suspsension too.

Blues lose a guy for 1 game, Bruins lose a player for possibly the entire series. Its hockey crap happens. Time to move on to game 3.
