I'm very much hyped for the Blues right now. Ryan O'Reilly with - eventually, when he gets healthy - Fabbri and Tarasenko? Schenn and Schwartz with possibly Jordan Kyrou (a rookie who looks extremely impressive)? Bozak on the third line with Steen and Perron? A fourth line that includes Robert Thomas (our other outstanding rookie)? Our defense is solid as always. Goalie is a concern, but if Allen sucks again, we can finally use Ville Husso.

How are your teams faring?

Just saw this. Thanks for asking me how the Kings are doing because they're playing like shit---tied for worst in the NHL. That's what happens when you acquire a below average has-been out of the KHL to boost scoring. Embarrassing.

I had higher expectations for your Blues even without Bakkes and Stastny, but it was cool seeing them eliminate the fuckhawks in the 1st round a couple years ago. That was a brutal Blues team. Damn!

Sorry to hear that. At least you'll have a top draft pick, like the Blues will? We suck for some reason, and there isn't a simple answer.

Yup. The Kings are an easy story. Even though Quick isn't the same wall as earlier, the D is still solid. Doughty's still killin it, but we aren't scoring. Brown's our leader at 11. Brown?

But i just looked at th he Blues stats. Tarasenko with only 11? WTF? That kid's a shooter, but at only 11, he's off. At least you have two others scoring.

At least it doesn't sting as much for you seeing Chi in the tank too. For us, both the qwaks and sharts are on top our division. :banghead:

The Bruins aren't one of the two worst teams in their conference, like the Blues and Kings. In fact, they're in the 3rd playoff spot.

And it gets better for the Kings. We got the sharts tonight. We may knock some sharts teeth out, but we may also swipe the bottom spot from StL. Bet on it

Hope you took that bet. Kings stormed the ice in Sannozay and snatched that last place spot away from the unsuspecting Blues.

The good news for the Blues is that Binnington (our rookie goalie) got us a shutout. But I still expect us to get a top five pick.

I hope the Kings grab Jack Hughes at #1
But I’d settle for the Finnish winger Kaapo Kakko to pair with Kupari.

I'm terrible at following prospects in any sport. Which one is more a two-way player, and which one puts more pucks in the net?

Neither of them are really two-way players. I've heard comparisons to Patrick Kane when it comes to Hughes. Kakko is more of a goal-scorer, but he doesn't really create his own offense. Still, I've heard Laine comparisons with Kakko, so if you don't "lose for Hughes," you can't really go wrong with him.

Cool! Thanks for the info.

Just saw this thread now lol

Hughes will go #1. Kakko is a sniper. Great goal scorer but Hughes is a centre and a play maker. He is pretty similar to Patrick Kane when he was playing in the OHL.

i really like for thr Kings is DYLAN COZENS
Dude can flat out play and has all the tools. Big kid who I think has just as much talent as Hughes but just not as much hype

Penguin fan here...

Shitty end to a game they should have won over the Flyers last night.

Flyers tie it at 1-1 with 18.8 seconds left, then win in OT with 3.4 seconds left.

With Letang back, they have a chance. But he hasn’t played since February. And Malkin scratched last night, too.

I doubt that they make it past round 2.

I...can't believe it. I was talking about the Blues getting the number one overall pick. They looked atrocious. And now they're in the playoffs. I can't believe it.
