With the 85th pick in the ROD Mock Draft, the Detroit Lions finish building their front 7. You guys put a beating to my board but one of my favourite players is still available. So I'll take him.
The Detroit Lions are proud to select, DE from Ohio, Tarbell Basham.

The dude is an absolute monster. I feel he'd go a lot higher if he played for a bigger school, but this guy was the heart and soul of his team. He's never gonna have to take on a left tackle with Anshan around.

Watch this clip if you'd like to see a punter get destroyed. The Detroit from 7 now looks like this.
DE: Zeke Ansah
DT: A'Shawn Robinson
DT: Haloti Ngata
DE: Tarbell Basham(3rd round)
OLB: Haason Reddick(1st round)
MLB: Jarrad Davis(2nd round)
OLB: Josh Bynes
That's an absolutely furocious front seven.
Ooh, he was going to be a possible pick in the fourth for me. Another great pick.

I stand corrected 12. I totally agree with that statement.12intheBox with eternal wisdom:
It's never a mistake to think - only to not to.
If I hadn't taken Taco I would have moved up this round to grab Basham. Great pick man.
Some may call this a reach, But I don't pick again until #160 in the 5th, and I don't want to lose this guy!!
More weapons for Bradford!! With the 86th pick of the Draft the Vikings Select WR - Robert Davis - Georgia State:
* 6ft 3 /219
* 4.44-40
* benched 19x
* 41.0 Vert.
* 136.0 Broad jump
* 4.28 short shuttle
* 11.48 Long shuttle
He's going to be a great replacement for Cordarrelle Patterson who left in FA!
Oh! I forgot, He has a 141.5 SPARQ score Highest among WR's!!
So not fair - aren't you guys all CB'd out by now - there goes my secret pick in the fourth!!
I'd be worried too, I think the run has already began. I think Basham fell through the cracks a bit and some DE's were thrown aside so people could grab a CB since the run on them is just insane, but worth it. The CB is just insane.Thanks man. I was worried he would be taken when I saw Tanoh fall off the board. Didn't want a run of DE to start.
I like Davis a lot too but think he'd be there in the 5th. But who knows. I currently have him as a late 5th/early 6th rounder. But he has elite size and speed and #1 in the SPARQ. If he can get all that working for him on the field he could be a steal. A big gamble but could payout big. I actually really would love the Rams to draft him.Some may call this a reach, But I don't pick again until #160 in the 5th, and I don't want to lose this guy!!
