3rd Grade.

I found this game on one of my dad's VHS tapes a couple years ago. Should I burn it?

I was 27 just back from travelling for 10 months and started a new job for Liberty Syndicates which is wholly owned by Liberty Mutual. I worked there for 10 years. Now I’m an old washed up bastard!!

I was 48, married with five kids (22, 19, 16, 12 and 9).

61 now and divorced (ex-wife passed in 2017) and the kids are all grown and on their own... 2 grand kids.

Funny... I really don't remember that game much at all. Maybe I blocked it out, but more likely it's memory loss

I remember the SEA game the week before, though. Like I said, maybe I just blocked out that loss.

Regardless, glad I'm around to see the Rams play another playoff game against ATL.

I think this one will turn out quite a bit differently (as in good)!

I was early in a new job, my second marriage, and a new baby girl. I hated the Falcons. Let's crush these guys Saturday.

I was 35 and May 27, 2004 I learned to not drink. My wife and I were seperated and I had a pretty good year, for a 35 year old single man living with his parents. Around July of 2005, my wife decided that I wasnt such a dick when I wasnt drinking and using drugs and I decided she wasnt such a bitch when she wasnt using drugs with me, so we worked things out and never finished the divorce we both thought we wanted so bad.

I was 45.
Married with a son in High School.

His football team won the state championship, so we were on the road every Friday night in the playoffs except for the first game.
So much fun.

My dad passed away on Halloween 2004...I spent the day with him watching a football game. He followed the Rams, although not like I do now but he was my influence.

I miss him a lot. We were in business together and I wonder what he thinks.

A tough year and a fun year, like a number of them since.

I was 38 and after quitting my job at the finest gentleman's club on the west coast, I moved to Montana to write a movie about Edgar Cayce.

I had put 500 on the rams to win it all early in the season at 20 to 1 so naturally I was out of my mind during the double OT panther game where I learned to hate Steve smith and Jason seahorn even more.

And fucking martz had to pick that time to go all ultra conservative and so unnecessarily so.

I was stationed in Brunswick, Maine during that year, checked in and remember thinking "WTF did I do takin orders here?" Then went on deployment, thank God.

Knew that team wouldn't last long in the playoffs, they were bad on defense and the offense had fallen off too from its better years. Depressing time tbh, the future did not look good back then.

Lived in my small house with a cool man cave. No kids but wife was 5 months pregnant. Didnt know there were chat rooms about the Rams.
Now I have 2 girls 6 & 12 and spend way too much time chattin with y'all.
The forums havent prevented me from having more kids, just gave me something to do while I wasnt creating more kids. Lol

Don’t know how I missed this thread. I’ve been reading all these threads and flipped to page 2 and came across this fun thread.
In 2004 we had our hands full with a 1 year old. It felt great beating those Seahacks in the Wild Card but that high didn’t last long after the Falcons beat down and it only got worse after that. Here we are 13 years later, my daughter is a 14 year old high school freshman who seemed while growing up liked who ever was playing against the RAMS...Lol...but this year I finally broke through when I took her to her first NFL game when the RAMS destroyed the Giants. Things are looking up. Now it’s time for some pay back for that beat down 13 years ago.

GO RAMS!

I was actually at that freaking game in Atlanta. I posted about it yesterday already... but I'll say it again.

That was a LONG MISERABLE walk out of that stadium after they ran the ball directly down our throats.

I'm really hoping that our performance this Saturday will finally heal most of the painful wounds inflicted on me from that God awful playoff game. That crap was painful and it's been lingering all this time.

Sorta like beating the Vikings last time in the playoffs exorcised a lot of demons...
