I don't know what you guys have heard but locally it is being reported as weed not PEDs. Since it is legal here they were probably confused. Whatever Browner is likely done as a Seahawk

heard the same thing

it doesnt matter if it is legal or not. The NFL has pot on its "do not smoke" list so that makes it illegal to all NFL players

Maybe he refused to bring some weed for the rest of the DBs and just had to go!

The Hags have become the thugs of the league, replacing the Ravens.

they promoted some guy from their practice squad. 6'2. They love their tall CB's.

Yes, I think this is exactly the same way Carroll coached at USC. He turned a blind eye so he would stay clean. He has a very lax way of coaching. It caught up with him at USC because discipline on and off the field eventually went down hill. Pete is too extreme, the wrong way, for me when it comes to coaching. The more discipline oriented coaches have more consistent success. The laid back guys usually falter.

This looks real bad for the Seahawks image. I wonder how many other players on that team are helping themselves out? Didn't Irvin also get a suspension this year? That is five starters.

what happened at USC wasn't all that bad compared to other incidents.

I disagree...this isn't high school or college. No pro -adult- coach is obligated to baby-sit men. He has nothing to do with their poor choices and the NFL schooled them on that when they were drafted anyway.

and you are wrong about more controlling coaches being more successful. While it is a combination of both maybe...
Belichick is the only one really good at being a control freak and yet the ultimate prize was taken from him twice by a coach who only started to motivate his players to win because he stopped being such a demanding obsessive pain in the ass who fined for everything under the sun till someone or something finally told him to take it back a notch and have some fun

I've always wondered if Marshawn Lynch is a consumer of any banned PEDs. Im not doubting his training regimen or even the insane work ethic. The guy is a beast and freakin SEA got him for a ridiculous 4th round pick and maybe a next year 6th if I remember. If Fish was our HC and Snead was the GM back then which wasnt even possible but if so...we would've pulled that trade. Yes even with SJ..imagine that combo! Even for 2 seasons at minimum.

Meh....

They only care about the suspensions and not what's causing them.

We just have to disagree on this one. Laid back coaches don't usually last because the team ends up running itself. We saw that at USC. Referring to Coughlin as not being a discipline oriented coach is flat out wrong, btw. I am not saying a good coach has to be 100% disciplinarian, but it is better if they are more of a discipline oriented coach than a laid back coach. I think that Pete Carroll is too extreme the wrong way.
