Going through it right now too. I made the mistake of asking, "Are you fucking bi-polar or something?" after she went nuts over a sock on the floor. Best thing to do, like Stu said, is to ride the wave. It fucking sucks, but you just gotta walk around mumbling, "I'm sorry" so that it becomes automatic the next time she flips her lid.

Oh man, I've been dealing with this all year. I picked a bad time to cut back on drinking. At least I know I'm not alone. Sounds like we could start a ROD support group :sly: Wait, is that my wife?

My wife has been fairly level headed through it all - well... not too much different than normal - she's a red head. We don't have A/C so I couldn't turn the temp down if I had to - gee darn.
Our last one is heading off to U of O this fall but our oldest is coming back to work for us. Guess no empty nest for a little while longer. Oh well - maybe he can take some of the heat off - take some of the separation anxiety out of the equation.
I suppose all women are a bit different in it all. I can tell you though that having your wife out of "commission" for three months is pretty fucking trying. Damn good thing for the internet I tell yuh. :sly:

Not sure if it is the norm but... yeah. Not to get too far into this area but twice now my wife had a "period" that lasted 3 months. Now the upside - if there is one - is that she didn't have one for several months after the first overtime period and it has been a couple months since she last went into extra innings. We are hoping that means she is almost done. According to some, that could be the case.
BTW - my wife cracked up when I told her about this thread. She said - kind of half joking, "Really makes you wonder why guys want anything to do with women."

Don't worry George, you have a boat!!!! :sly: But to tell you how long you have, it is unpredictable. Seems women are hitting it younger and younger with all the stuff they put in our food these days. Just make sure you have an Ipad with WIFI so you can go sit in a tree stand somewhere and stay connected to ROD in case of emergencies brah!!! :ww:

the only thing worse than the The Menopause is a red head on The Menopause. I truly believe that's a whole nutha level of Menopausiness.
I'm immersed at the moment as well.
On the bright side, the yard looks better than ever before and the shed is immaculate. When in doubt, or when its clear you can do absolutely nothing right, just go cut the grass.
Another good tip is to live near a Home Depot. I can spend hours in Home Depot planning my next project. I even plan projects I have no intention of ever completing. I never got into any trouble looking at cabinets and flooring. :sly:
