Yeah, I was born and raised out there. Born Bruin, grew up in San Gabriel Valley (the smog bowl) and went to HS in Santa Monica (where the least attractive girls were 5s and 6s...blew my mind! More dimes than a 1950s train station phone booth!)

Weather was fine, but too dry for me. As I got older, it really became a problem.

Moved to Florida where I traded fake for crazy.

I have an easier time dealing with crazy...although Florida has been pushing it, lately.

I won't speculate what that says about me...

Great weather is always a matter of personal preference. I don't believe everybody wants to live in LA, and you should probably be happy about that.
I no longer live there but the weather was fantastic when I did. Now... San Diego has far better weather but who cares about their teams. Oh wait.... they don’t have any.

P.S. The Padres don’t count.

I never lived there.
Been there many times, along with San Diego and San Francisco. Prefer seasons. Love spring, fall, and winter where I am. Don't like summer.

accusations? it's become a group think, exactly like goff was a bust after 7 games. when the rams played the eagles fox had a huge clock countdown on the screen every time the rams had the ball with the camera focused on jared. they removed the image when the clock hit 15 seconds. in the playoff game against the falcons whoever did the broadcast did a similar thing throughout the game.

i hate the nfl media so much.

.
Boom. This is so true. These pukes couldn't criticize Hil...er..Jimmygee if all he did was throw picks to our practice squad players. Shanahan is brilliant, too. Total fake news. I deal with it even when I try to escape into sports.

NBC is reporting that Shanahan took advantage of every second available to “teach” Jimmy G during his first year. This included talking to him at the los and helping him reading the d, seems like I remember McVay getting ripped for trying to help Goff in the same way. Interesting how complimentary the piece was, giving Shanny credit for doing all he could to help his qb while McVay was accused by some of cheating when he did the same thing.

That and how Jimmy Garappolo (I refuse to call him by rhyme), magically and in pure awesomeness, beat the Bears, Texans, Jaguars, Titans, and a backup Rams team.

Rams also beat all them minus Bears, and SF early on. But when the Rams played them, it was "weak opponents" and don't count.

Fuck the hell off.

You hear that from California people quite a bit and it’s hard for them to get that people would rather live in snow and bad weather than live in California.

Huh? I live in California and get 10-20° winter weather and it snows on my ass every year. California is a whole lot bigger than 'LA'.

Yeah, you just can't pay these jerk wads any attention. When our Rams start dismantling teams this year, it'll be because we bought a team and the NFL wants us to win because of LA and their new stadium. I'll just smile at them and say, " it sucks to be you!" and " It's nice to be king!"

They traded for Talib and Peters. Turning draft picks into proven talent is not buying a team. Now I guess they may point to Woods and Whitworth, but every team signs at least two free agents a year.

I am in PA and have listened to the obnoxious Eagles fans bragging about adding Michael Bennett to their Dline. I scoffed and bring up the Rams adding Talib, Peters, and Suh. Right away they start pointing to character issues, and saying the trades were bad. Bennett is as much of a concern as anyone and he is in decline. If the Eagles had acquired these three the Eagles fans would be bragging about them, like we are. Sour grapes are everywhere.

The younger head coaches seems to like that strategy. maybe it's a generational thing.

How long has Shanney been doing it ? Did he do it with Beathard as well ? That would be the complete story .

If not did he steal the idea from McVay ?

McVay come up the ranks right behind Shanahan .

It seems to be always fashionable to hate on LA teams. I have been to away games for all our pro teams and many other teams games and I don't recall hearing "Beat _____" but always hear "Beat LA". How dare we have great weather AND good teams. #hateusbecauseyouaintus

Didn't that chant start with Boston fans during the Lakers 80's Showtime era? I loved it when they started that chant and Magic/Kareem stuck it to them. I also remember at a Giants/Dodgers game the Giants fans were chanting "Beat LA". After the last out when the Dodgers won I couldn't help myself and yelled "YOU GOT BEAT BY LA!"

They have seasons. There's sailing season, beach season, bikini season, and surf season.

This is less about McVay and Shanahan.
It has all to do with Goff...
Many talking heads have their fingers crossed that he fails. They are hoping beyond hope that they were not wrong when they labeled him as a bust.

Oh hell yes they do. Especially Meshawn. And Dickerson and his big fat mouth too.

Just why someone would judge a QB after a handful of games, in ANY system, is ludicrous and strips a sports talk show host of credibility.

The younger head coaches seems to like that strategy. maybe it's a generational thing.

Actually I read that it's been done by many coaches since the radios were installed. They gives tips based on substitutions that the QB might not see because he is in the huddle all the time.

but always hear "Beat LA"

Bay area fans are just the worst.

Started in Boston........I watched the game on TV.

Everyone likes something different. I have a friend in Denver that will probably never leave. I have another friend that finally got her wish and moved to AZ, she likes the desert.

I work with a woman that loves the heat we get here in FL in the summer..........that one is the hard one to get LOL.
