OMG-just brought back memories. I think I went there with a customer of mine and his wife. It was "interesting" to say the least. It was like 12 years ago and I didn't know where he was taking me. Needless to say I haven't been back since.
Yeah - sure. :D

I think I'm there with you. I don't know why we couldn't wander about both and then choose but old school rather than chain is my preference.

Anyone interested in checking out the biker bar where the new stadium is planned?

That's all good too. Ballpark village is 1.5 miles round trip so, if anyone has trouble with that, just keep it in mind. Of course, there are pedicabs, cabs, horse and carriage, Uber black etc.

but also the place you are likely to meet, um, metrosexuals? Is that still allowed? It's fun, and popular. Some expense involved, but Missouri expense, not LA expense.

I'm guessing I'm not the only one here who would like clarification on that even though I'm not going.

CGI would like "price ranges" I bet. And maybe a few tips if you can offer them........

The Landing - does anyone still go down there? Are there still bars open down there? With all of the construction, I know many, many places are either gone or have very little business these days. Just not happening like it used to be.

Has anyone thought of some casino action? Lumiere place is a great casino right by the dome - and close to the Landing. (close to Tigin)

Blues band? Broadway Oyster Bar is a great little restaurant / blues bar... hole in the wall type joint. Here's the music schedule for September: http://www.broadwayoysterbar.com/musicsched.html

I'm going to have to end up at the Lumiere at some point. That's where my wife will be trying to pull me from the start. I'm all in when it comes to an oyster bar as well. Is that down by the Landing?

See, this sounds good...pretty game primers at the Tigin, head to the oyster bar for some live blues, and end the night at the casino...

I am in for that!!!!

I'll check with my sons and my dad but personally I'm not into casinos. That doesn't mean we can't just figure it out then. My dad may want to head back early and my youngest might want to head back with him.

Apparently @VegasRam might run out of steam by then too. :D

Man! I'm kind of a dick today.

I'm going to have to try and tone it down at some point. I'll be so excited that I will want to watch the sun rise. Then I'll feel like Fido's ass for the tailgate and game.

Sounds like a good plan. Broadway Oyster Bar is fantastic. It's a cajun / zydeco type place that has excellent cajun / New Orleans style vibe and food. Good beer selection too along with hurricanes, etc. It's not down on the Landing - it's actually just south of Busch Stadium.... which is not too far of a cab ride from the Tigin... or you could walk there from Ballpark Village if people want to check that place out.
