Southwest is having a 3-day sale right now, but you have to book by Thursday - and it includes trips through December. Might want to check into it if you are flying in from out of town.

Yeah, I had to try about 3 times before I got it to work but it only saves me about $30 and then I'd have to drive 2 hours to airport and pay for parking so no savings for me. I'm sure some can save a good bit depending on location and situation.

Brudda @RamzFanz is looking to rent an RV so that it can be parked overnight insuring us a good location and a restroom. He even mentioned maybe letting an out of towner sleep there if needed as long as it wasn't @LesBaker . The key thing is actually getting a spot locked down for the tailgate since the Dome isn't the most tailgate friendly of stadiums.

As far as the food goes. I would love to be able to commit to cooking, but I am getting in Saturday morning and plan on doing as much tourist stuff and partying Saturday night as I possibly can. I don't want to speak for Stu, but I know he is going to be doing the same thing...

You local guys are better equipped to help with the grub. We may just order some finger food snack stuff and have it delivered if nothing else. Of course we'll have plenty of adult beverages no matter what happens.


ALL of us getting together to tailgate before the game is a must. If we have a location,,, the food and everything else won't really matter.

Here's the thing, and I don't want to speak out of line here, but you will probably be able to grab a $10 ticket off stubhub and still sit with the group.

I wouldn't sweat the ticket prices while Southwest is having a sale, we'll work it out, I promise.
