Kenny Young is gone. JR Reed is gone. Looks like Rams are short one on the 53 and one on the PS.

Who will fill those spots?

Likely two via trade and one moved back to the Practice squad.

Veteran Safety and depth corner come on down. possibly a RB

Is Jared Pickney, 6'4", 257lbs, a possible replacement as blocking TE for Mundt?

Still a few days from trade deadline, but I anticipate some roster moves.

I think we see a move before the weekend tbh. They cleared cap space for a reason and a shrewd move could help them improve one of a few areas of weakness.

I want safety but McVay will probably favor his offense it is what it is. TE2 should be easy to pull off.

The new pieces to the roster are stuck on a cargo ship off the coast

I'm thinking they're scouring PSs all around the league to see if there's a corner they think is worth putting on the 53. Poach that for the open roster spot.

There is speculation in the web about Giants trading Evan Engram whose contract is up this year.

I have long suspected that the Rams were targeting Engram with their first pick (2nd Round) of the 2017 Draft.

As I recall, Engram was projected to go late-1st to early-2nd.

Higbee was on the roster but McVay used a ton of two-TE sets in Washington with Vernon Davis and Jordan Reed in 2016. However, the Giants selected Engram in the first round; and the Rams took Gerald Everett in Round Two.

Living in NYC, I have seen a lot of Engram; and he is a talent but he has been very frustrating. Durability issues and drops ... lots of untimely drops.

Spotrac is showing Blanton as back on the Practice Squad.
The Rams will need to keep a spot open for Darious Williams if he returns immediately following the Texans game.

Kind of like Gerald Everett and Jared Cook rolled up into one.
