IMO it's more because viewers will change channels when the Rams are blowing the 49ers out before halftime. That defense could give up 24030 points before the two minute warning before the half and the NFL needs a more competitive game that late at night. People need a reason to stay tuned and a score of Rams 38 49ers 3 in the 3rd quarter won't keep eyeballs glued LOL.
These are also the reasons the Rams v. Chiefs game will be flexed out of MNF!!!

No, MNF games do not get flexed out, only Sun Night games can be flexed. Beyond that, the KC game is in Mexico City so there is no chance it would ever move.

On the other hand depending on how the Eagles do in the next month our Sunday Night game vs them could also get flexed out to Sun afternoon.

I was joking! I didn't think it needed the blue font. But, thanks for your clarification!

I followed you. That’s why we have the blue font on this forum, I guess. I tried to use subtle sarcasm early in this thread and it earned me 3 “different opinions”.

The written word can sometimes be misconstrued. My point was that it was bogus that the national media is riding the jock of a personality- Patrick Mahomes- and will feature him as often as possible.

Jared Goff has been tainted in the national narrative by his rookie season, and probably partly by his slight build, as he still fills out his 6-4 frame.

Granted, Cincinnati is doing a lot better than San Francisco, but we are going to be dealing with the lingering doubts about Goff for a while. And I’m ok with that.

Goff will be too busy winning.

Isnt that the leader of the autobots?

If we want to schedule a game of cricket or time for a spot of tea, we will use mean green time - for football, it’s an East Coast world.

there'd be no east coast time zone if it wasn't for good old GMT and if im being picky (and i am ) ..your actual statement wasnt about it being a football world ,,, you said the world works in eastern time,,,and you're wrong

and just because im english ... it doesnt mean i ike cricket ....tea sounds good though

Okay okay - your people invented time.

Still, my point is valid - there is no world outside of the football world.

Tea is good. Thanks for that.

And be honest - you do like cricket, don’t you?

When i was a kid i could watch every ball bowled in a test match. Every ball. I lost interest in the late 80s and when i started watching the nfl for real in 1990 i just about stopped watching the cricket. Pretty soon after i couldn't even watch an over from a game. Still, baseball is worse than cricket and rugby union is maybe the worst sport ever invented. It's only use is that it transformed into another sport, rugby league. So it has that going for it.

Whatevs...

I hope their game sucks. Like the Shecocks game, the Whiners will compete...rivalry teams, almost always do, regardless of the Jimmy Gee Whizz factor. Damn, I wanted to kill this team on @Prime Time !

I like the idea flexing the best game to Sunday night. But never in 100 million years would they flex out an undefeated Packers, patriots, Steelers or Cowboys team no matter Who they were playing.

I agree with you 100%, I live in the Midwest and every nationality televised game is an opportunity for me not to watch bad streams online.
