Les Snead has the golden ticket in his hand and it's burning a hole for 2024. Make your prediction about the fate of the 2024 Rams 1st Round pick

I hope the Rams can finally draft some young studs. However, my gut tells me Snead will trade it. Trading down for 2 high picks might also be a good strategy..

We'll draft a QB and Stafford's eventual replacement with our 2024 1'st rounder.

I think he will package it with the 2025 and 2026 1st rounders to move up to #1 pick and take the kid from USC Caleb Williams.

I am guessing they will be picking around 15-18... big time LT, WR, or CB or trade back for more picks.

Thinking Stafford will have a good yr and he is still nearly impossible to release until 25'.

So they roll another yr with Stafford and continue to develop Bennett. Maybe 25' is the time to use a top 50 pick on a QB or go get a high end FA.

Where’s the option for “Snead stands and delivers an undersized WR”?

It all depends on where they pick next year.

If it’s 5-15 I think they make the pick.

1-5 they make the pick or trade back slightly

15-32, who knows.

Yup, Snead didn't save all those first round picks for nothing. He will use them to move up if he must to get that next Ram franchise QB1. Stetson will be broken hearted but oh well he will have 3 more years to prove he can be a starter in the NFL. Bennett has talent, but IMO he needs to show he can do more than ad lib. Can he read defenses? How good and quickly can he go through his progressions? I find it interesting he's had a very quiet OTAs.

If he can stay injury free this year, Michael Penix is probably high on their wish list. He's got the arm and ability to read defenses that McVay's scheme demands. Most of the other QBs are half field or RPO type QBs. Penix throws a beautiful deep ball with good accuracy. He's tall with good speed as well. His only problem was injuries, but he was injury free at UW last year. He stayed in college to prove he can stay injury free for a second year. If he replicates last year, he's a top 3 QB talent. It will take more than 3 first-round picks to move into that range.

I don't put it out of the range of possibility that Snead doesn't try to trade for a QB as well. He only has to look as far as the Chargers. Herbert will be playing on his 5th year option. He's another gunslinger type of QB, i.e. another younger version of Stafford. He's also not happy wasting his youth playing for a loser franchise. Spanos will struggle to pay Herbert top dollar. Make Spanos an offer he can't refuse and he won't. I feel that if not in 2024 then it will be in 2025 when Herbert leaves the Chargers.

Get Herbert and the Rams will be set as a Super Bowl contender for the next 8-10 years.
