Stafford looked pissed after that 2nd sack in the 1st half. He probably went to Mcvay, and was like "look im old, im tired of being sacked, give it to Kyren" lol. JKJK He looked really off today. Maybe his injuries are mounting again?

Whatever was said in the locker room at half time worked. Great Win! Now we have to stomp the steelers.

I agree. Still believe the overall talent is below average but I am thrilled (and pleasantly surprised) that they have been competitive week-in and week-out.

They’re 3-3. They’re exactly average!
Seriously, the Rams are good enough to beat most teams if they play great football, but who does that week in and week out? Overall, I’d say they’ve been better than at least half the league.

The schedule they have opened with has been difficult. The steelers and cowboys games will be telling—for all three teams.

The Steelers are in a tough division and even though they have looked mediocre at times, the have a couple big wins already.

The cowboys have destroyed 3 crappy teams. They appear overrated, especially at QB.

The Rams have one big win to hang their hat on, but having an off-season to prepare for a familiar opponent helps. The close calls and heartbreaking misses give both confidence/hope while also causing trepidations over who they really are.

The next two games will clear up a few things for a few teams.

I don't think I agree. However, I hope a lot of the young players turn-out to be quality players.

There was a point in the second quarter when the Rams' defense went out to start a possession.
All three of the Defensive Linemen were undrafted free agents (Williams. Copeland and Durden).
Two of the Linebackers (Rozeboom and Edge Hoecht) were also undrafted free agents.
Five of the top-six DBs were late round picks (Durant a 4th, with Yeast, Kendrick, Fuller and Lake all 6th or 7th).
Great post. Our scouting department is pretty good, don't you think? If we kill the next draft, look out! We are already formidable. With a great offseason in 2024, we might well win it all. Believe.

I just wish the home crowd were more passionate, but hey ho. It should be a fortress, but there it is...

10-7 a real possibility.
Agree, but looking at the schedule, the Rams would probably make the playoffs at 9-8 if their wins break down a certain way.

The Rams have 8 more conference games left, including 3 in division.

Non-divisional, all winnable games:
Cowboys
Packers
WFT
Saints
G-men

If the Rams go 2-1 in their remaining division games, they only need to go 4-1 in the above games. If the Rams go 1-2 and they win all 5 of those conference games, they still go 9-8 (minimum).
At that point, I doubt there would be 3 wild card teams with either a better record or owning the tie breaker over the Rams.

As much as I want to beat the steelers next week (the Rams need this type of win), those conference games are all the Rams need to make the playoffs.

The league will have to respect the Rams run game from now on.... And I think they can run on the Steelers too...

Pass game was there but it was one of those days where the wideouts weren't executing. Kupp admitted he fucked up, Nacua dropped the TD pass, the OL was having assignment problems, etc so the run settled things down.

Also one consistency with McVay is he never sticks with the run if it isn't executing. So props to the boys on doing that and Williams for forcing his hand. Way he was running cemented things I think.

I never said we wouldn't have to throw in a draft pick.

Point being;
Josh Reynolds is much better.
That’s a moot point. We got skoronek that costs a lot less and produces about the same well called upon.

Our current direction is the cheap way. Why would we trade for a 4th WR? Or 3rd? That’s going to cost more than a draft pick? Easy enough to draft one with 4 cheap years.
