Eh I'm not too stoked about this game. Seattle beat SF, and if we don't make some changes they'll best us too. Sloppy play needs to stop and these guys need to stop watching ESPN

At least they're the worst defense in football so far against the run. Or at least were going into this last week. So we got that going for us...

Too bad McVay just abandoned the run too early, even when it was the only thing working offensively. But I’m not too confident he will…too obsessed with his shiny new toy at QB to stick with the run. Hope this game is a repeat of NE last year, running to set up the pass.

First Look: Rams head to Seattle for Thursday Night Football road game against Seahawks

After getting handed their first loss of the season, the Rams (3-1) will look to bounce back with a win over the Seahawks (2-2) on Thursday Night Football in Seattle (5:20 p.m. pacific time, FOX/NFL Network/Amazon).

In advance of the contest, here is your First Look at Rams-Seahawks:

Notable Seahawks additions

Signed TE Gerald Everett to a one-year deal on March 21: After spending his first four seasons with the Rams, Everett stayed in the division following the expiration of his rookie contract by signing a one-year deal with Seattle. He has eight catches for 77 yards and one touchdown in three games, but missed last week's game against the 49ers after landing on the Reserve/COVID-19 list.

Hired Shane Waldron as their new offensive coordinator on Jan. 27: Waldron, previously the Rams' passing game coordinator, replaced Brian Schottenheimer as the leader of Seattle's offense. Seattle currently ranks 19th in the NFL in total offense at 350.3 total yards per game.

Top performers in Week 4

QB Russell Wilson completed 16 of 23 pass attempts for 149 yards and two touchdowns, also rushing four times for 26 yards and one touchdown in the Seahawks' 28-21 win over the 49ers.

RB Alex Collins paced Seattle's backfield with 44 yards on 10 carries, plus one touchdown.

WR D.K. Metcalf led all Seahawks receivers with four receptions for 65 yards and one touchdown.

On defense, LB Bobby Wagner had a team-high 10 total tackles, while S Quandre Diggs chipped in seven total tackles and an interception.

On special teams, K Jason Myers made all four his extra point attempts, while P Michael Dickson averaged 50.6 yards per punt across six punts.

Early storylines to watch, and what they mean for the Rams

If there's one way to shake off a tough result, it's playing the next game four days later. So from that standpoint, the timing of this week's game could be a blessing for the Rams.

They will naturally be forced to move on from Week 4 fairly quickly because of the tight turnaround and shift their focus to the Seahawks. They will also be forced to adjust quickly and figure out what worked and didn't work, given they will have to defend a quarterback with a skillset similar to the Cardinals' Kyler Murray in the Seahawks' Russell Wilson.

In terms of other storylines, it will be interesting to see how the Rams use cornerback Jalen Ramsey this week. At star, he can help keep Wilson in check, but he'll also be needed to limit Metcalf's impact, too, as well as wide receiver Tyler Lockett. Striking the right balance will be key to them earning a win in Seattle.

Finally, for a Rams offense that had an uncharacteristic performance in Week 4, Week 5 presents a good chance to bounce back: The Seahawks allow the most total yards of offense per game in the NFL through the first four weeks of the season at 444.5.

I am so worried we are going to see a repeat of the Cards game by the Defense. This will have to be a shoot out. I hope our offense can flip the switch to on. We are going to need it all.

If we have another shitshow like last week you are going to see alot of Morris on the hot seat talk.

Going from 1st in the league in defense to bottom 10 which is very likely if Russ Cooks will stir alot of media attention.

Short turnaround from Week 4 to Week 5 gives Rams near-immediate opportunity to respond "the way that we expect to"

INGLEWOOD, Calif. – If there's a silver lining to the Rams' loss to the Cardinals on Sunday, it's that they won't have to think about it for very long.

With another divisional game in three days – the Seahawks in Seattle – they have no choice but to quickly shift their attention to their next opponent.

"Fortunately for us, we've got a chance on a short week to be able to respond the way that we expect to, the way that we want to, and that's exactly what we're going to do moving forward," Rams head coach Sean McVay said postgame.

For Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford, that process started Sunday night.

"I think it's easy when you have to turn the page so quickly," Stafford said. "The next thing I'm going to be looking at is... I'll finish looking at this one and then I'll be looking at Seattle as quickly as possible. I haven't played them as much as a lot of other guys in this locker room have played them, so I'll have some homework to do and make sure I'm up to speed, ready to go come Thursday."

Thursday will mark the second-straight game the Rams will face a quarterback who can make throws in the pocket or on the run, and use their legs to extend plays in Seattle's Russell Wilson, which could help them from a preparation standpoint as they learn from what worked and didn't work against Arizona's Kyler Murray.

"We'll see, but I hope that will help," Rams cornerback Jalen Ramsey said. "It's another game. We're going to focus on that, and on Thursday night, we're going to try to go get a win."

Rams linebacker Kenny Young kept things in perspective of the bigger, 18-week picture Sunday night.

It's Los Angeles first and only loss so far this season. L.A. gets a chance to respond with another game against a divisional opponent. And above all else, Young trusts the resolve of his teammates and isn't letting the one loss define how the next 14 weeks unfold.

"Honestly, if there's one thing I love about this team, no matter what happens, we always stay connected and no one ever flinches, and I think that speaks volumes about the character of the team," Young said. "Because it's easy just to wind up and try to go out and win a game, but how does it really look when things don't go your way? But that's what I'm most proud of the men that I know are in that (locker) room. They're going to bounce back, we're going to stay strong together, and it's a long season."

Meanwhile, Rams offensive lineman and team captain Andrew Whitworth embraces the chance to get things back on track in short order.

"It's one of those things that you got to relish moments like this," Whitworth said during a video conference Monday. "If you like playing NFL football, if you enjoy sports and competition, then you should love nothing more than an opportunity where you get humbled and you have a chance to respond. Anytime we're blessed with the opportunity to respond and it's not the last game of the year or a playoff game (where) you lost (and) your season's over, to me that's exciting."

Stolen from Reddit, but current players have yet to win a game following an appearance on the Manning MNF broadcast. Stafford appeared on there after the Bucs game.

We got this.

Yea, if McVay decides to run the ball and does not channel his inner Martz and get pass happy.
