MATCHUP

The Los Angeles Rams travel to face the Buffalo Bills (2-0) looking to move to 3-0 on the season. Kickoff from Bills Stadium on September 27, 2020 is scheduled for 10 a.m. PT on FOX.
Including the postseason, Sunday's game will mark the 13th all-time meeting between the two teams, with Buffalo leading the series 7-5. The Bills won the last meeting 30-19 on October 9, 2016 at Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.

NFL Week 3 injuries

Rams at Bills (-2)

• Rams: RB Cam Akers (rib) OUT; DB Darious Williams (ankle) QUESTIONABLE
• Bills: RB Zack Moss (toe), TE Dawson Knox (concussion), LB Del'Shawn Phillips(quad) OUT; LB Tremaine Edmunds (shoulder), CB Taron Johnson (groin), LB Matt Milano (hamstring) QUESTIONABLE

Akers left last week's win over the Eagles with the rib injury and did not practice all week, so him being unavailable for this game isn't a surprise. The Rams will counter with more Darrell Henderson and a steady dose of touches for Malcolm Brown in their running back-by-committee approach. Brown didn't practice Wednesday with a finger injury, but he's good to go in this one.

The Bills not having Zack Moss this week is a headline in itself, but they are also a bit banged up on the defensive side of the ball. While Matt Milano finally returned to practice on Friday as a full participant, Tremaine Edmunds was limited all week. Both are listed as questionable for Sunday.

McVay would have kept the Rams on the East coast but league rules due to CoVid won’t allow it this season
