Rams 2nd youngest team in the league

After trimming the roster down to 53, Cleveland Browns take the spot for the youngest team in the league, averaging to 24.24 years; we're currently 25.09, which isn't a major jump from last year (25 on avg in 2016) Prior to this year, we were the youngest team in the league for 5 years straight

Despite being the 2nd youngest, we have some veteran pieces a la Whitworth, Sullivan, and Barwin that will help younger players understand the nuances of their respective positions

As a rebuilding team, being young is okay. But if we are still one of the youngest in two years from now, then we aren't developing our own players. Being the youngest team 5 years in a row didn't exactly work out very well for us.

They maybe the youngest team now, but they still have the oldest habits of sucking so bad for so long.

The Rams have never finished at or above .500 in the past decade, and they've won four games or less in five of the past 10 seasons.

I think it's a function mostly of bad coaching, with bad personnel selection also factoring in.

For the prior 5 years, we had a HC who, while good for the defense and ST's, was miserable with the offense (as evidenced by miserable offensive staffs), compounded by too many bad picks on that side of the ball. For three years prior to that, we had a HC who was even worse, an utter incompetent/control freak, along with a GM who could never hit on draft pick past the 2nd round, and who left our cupboards bare. And for most of the three years prior to that, we had a HC who melted down under pressure and who was hampered by an aging roster and years of bad drafting prior to his arrival. The personnel selection under him was no better than his successor either.
