I have known Jeff (Bome) since my days at RRF, along with his wife Lisa. As was mentioned before, they brought the GD forum to life during the dull times in STL.

I never had the privilege of meeting either of them, but like I do with all members here, I consider them friends and family.

My thoughts and prayers go out to all of the family, and to each and every one of you who has ever interacted with such a fine man

My young wife has fought off sepsis twice since 2019. Once was during covid and I could not be with her in the hospital room. It was awful.

Most people don't know how deadly a sepsis attack can be. I didn't until my wife dealt with it. I was like "what, my wife could die?". It's really bad.

So sad. So sorry. I didn't know him. But fellow human having been through loss, it's tough. No words really help. But look at all the LOVE here for Jeff and Lisa. That alone is amazing.

I did not know Bome as well as I wish I had. I do know that he was intelligent, articulate and kind. I respected his opinions and valued the knowledge he brought to this family of fans. He will truly be missed.
