This news is a bit of a kick in the nuts to fans and all involved but in all seriousness, Southern California DESPERATELY needed the rain. Shit...the entire Southwest needs rain.

We get another year of outside football. I'm ok with it.

It's the uniforms I'm impatient about.
I'm not looking forward to 3 years of mismatched unis. WTF are they thinking.

Not a prob for the Rams due to their coliseum status. But you can bet Spanos and the Chargers are pi$$ed. :ROFLMAO:

Hopefully this doesn't further delay the uniform change too. I should call it UNIFORM CORRECTION.
Uh oh. One more year to make money with a jersey change. Would it be that shocking to see yet another throwback uni offered...? I think there's only one left.

Rain.... You freakin' serious??
It's rain
Rain delays construction a YEAR???
How does 20 days of rain turn into 365 days of delay?
California needs to grow some balls
You have to remember. this is California. the Construction Regulation Capital of the World! You can't do shit without a regulation biting you in the A$$! There are probably Fee's for every regulated phase of construction! Not to mention inspector's who you must kiss-up-to!

The Inglewood stadium, will be delayed one year and should be ready for the start of the 2020 season. The delay is due to record-setting rainfall from January through March in the Los Angeles area, per the Chargers.

I'm pretty bummed to hear of this sad news...... I'm happy for the people of Los Angles that finally got their desperately needed rain so that eases the painful news a little bit.

Ugh, I was planning a big trip in 2019 to LA and was looking forward to meeting some of you local fans before watching the Rams play in their new state of the art super star stadium.

This puts more pressure on McVay to put a winning team on the field before then. I doubt Kroenke wants to open a new stadium with a coach on the hot seat, and 2020 would be McVay's 4th season. It's typical to fire a coach if he hasn't made the playoffs after 3 years (unless his name is Fisher).

Apparently construction workers, like baseball players, can't stay out in the rain.

The road I live off of has been under construction for 3 years to be expanded from a two lane road to four lane and isn't done yet. Maybe next year will finish. This is like a 2 mile road too. Not surprised by this development.

Damn, my son is going on a basketball tour to the USA in December of 2019. Was excited to see the new stadium. Double damn.

They've been digging a big hole, and all the recent rain ran off and drained into it. There a 15 foot deep lake where the field is going to be. Its going to take a while to pump it all out. And then it has to dry out. Put them way behind schedule

Don't bring logic into this discussion.
