I was in the camp of Noteboom not really being tradable (contract, skill compared to other tackles avail, etc...) but they're still not saying what he's dealing with... I would say the possibility of him getting traded has gone up a smidge in my mind.
Also, seems like we're already starting to see some issues with tackle depth on contending teams (Miami...).
What ticks me off is that Joe Noteboom could have provided the Rams with a solid option this year, whether that be in a starting role or depth, and now the team just lost a solid player (when healthy). As if the line wasn't shaky enough already. The Rams have been good to him, contract-wise, and I can't help but think Notebom is upset over not starting and/or being bumped over to RG. If you recall from last year, Alaric Jackson said that he and Noteboom would start at G and T. Then Boom lost the job to AJ and now has to compete at RG and it appears he is not happy about it. Sorry to speculate, this is just my opinion, but I hope the Rams don't give him away for nothing.
I loved Saffold. After he got both shoulders repaired, Dude was a STUD!.Isn't it funny how so many were all over Saffold's ass about his injuries but at least when he was available he'd kick fucking ass. Noteboom is a perennial tease. He's a coachkiller type IMO you simply cannot depend on this dude.

Boom's PornHub blackmail file on the Rams staff is pretty pretty strong. Based on that, DUDE'S A STARTER!
Dude couldn't stay healthy. Getting surgery helped, moving to OG helped maybe even more.Speaking of Saffold, everyone seems to forgot how he was the fan's whipping boy for his first few seasons at the Rams.
How quickly people forget.

Interesting perspective, I was holding out hope that he slides over to RG and we have a great mix of 5 quality OL with good size and experience starting with 3 versatile backups, but it does have my spidey senses on alert. I am very curious to see this play out. What ticks me off is that Joe Noteboom could have provided the Rams with a solid option this year, whether that be in a starting role or depth, and now the team just lost a solid player (when healthy). Does this cookie taste a little herbally? If so, I need one too!Whoa. Somebody needs a cookie.
I think you're wrong. I think those teams are using Evans as a measuring stick to cut players. If a lineman is close or worse than him, they know there's no hope. Evans will be cut at the end of the day. He's training camp fodder plus there's no draft capital given up for him.Are you kidding ? Teams are still showing interest in Bobby Evans.
So far I feel like O-line re-signings have been a weakness of McSnead. Their drafting hasn't been great either but I think that was more of it not being a priority there. Hopefully that starts to change with Avila.I wish I knew what they were thinking when they let Corbett walk and extended Noteboom and Allen. Corbett hasn't missed a game the last 3 years. Noteboom and Allen have missed a lot of games the past 4 seasons.

No, but unless we give up draft capital, no team is touching him. Noteboom hasn't proven anything other than he's injury prone and not dependable. I was pissed when we re-signed him. Looking like many us that felt that way were right. And you are putting Noteboom in Bobby Evans territory ?

There is definitely the possibility of a sucker born everyday but when have we done good trading with Snead? I can't see the Rams wanting to trade draft capital to get rid of Noteboom. His contract is terrible and NFL teams aren't going to line up to save us. If they do trade him, I hope we do find a sucker tho lolThere are 8 games to be played before the trade deadline, some team may have to deal with an injured LT.
