With all due respect (and I like a lot of your takes)... I don't care what other teams do.

I get tired head reading posts of other team's scores/upsets in order to justify what MY team just did.

I don't care about the Ravens... I don't care about the Eagles... I don't care about the Dolphins... I don't care about the Titans... I don't care about the Giants.... I don't care about the Chiefs.

No... we're NOT in good company... all of them lost.

I don't want to be in the company of losers any more.

Love Chris Long, but honestly at this point I'm sick of hearing it. You're tired of losing? You're pissed off at the performance you just put in? Then freaking do something about it.

Same here. That's why I wouldn't follow these guys if I had twitter. Coaches get a lot of the flak for a loss, which is deserved, but the players seem to overall get less. The thing is that the coaches can only do so much. These players have to hold up their end. The coaches aren't dropping balls, missing tackles, missing blocks, not getting off blocks, jumping offsides, etc. A lot of these players have been here for years now. They need to put up or shut up. These guys should have been hungry and angry a couple of seasons ago after losses like these. These guys should have a lot of pride and be better than this already. They have the talent. But some players like Pead probably don't care much seeing as how he was laughing on the sideline after making another mistake. I am tired of hearing the same things from Fisher and the players and nothing changing.

Exactly. And you're infinitely more pissed? I guess that depends on if the fans in question have been fans since long before you were drafted, bud.

But yea. Pissed?

Then stop being pissed, take charge, and get your fucking troops straightened out and playing clean football! If Fisher won't get you guys properly prepared, fucking do it yourselves. You and JL55 are smart guys.

There's a remedy for being pissed for piss poor play. Stop playing piss poor every other week!

Rams could bounce back next week.
Okay....then fall back two weeks later....
Oh, did you see the Steelers?

But he had an answer last week for Seattle, correct?
Actually the defense, esp. the run defense wasn't anything special...The first half, they were OK...2nd half, not so much. It looked like the Offense was the most responsible for that win.

Lynch rushed for 73 yards, so I wouldn't call that getting gashed,
Typical RB stats...and all it would take is ONE big run, then those same numbers look impressive. They had to throw to catch up, and is probably the explanation for the pedestrian numbers.

You have every right to be pissed off about today. Just consider that we are likely infinitely more pissed. That's all. %ramsup
Thanks Chris...we are pissed off...and it didn't appear that many of your teammates were as pissed as us....

Pissed?

Let's be serious, Chris
As a Ram fan I'm waaaaaaaay beyond being "pissed."
I mean I have been to Hell and back with this team (and back to Hell, and back to Hell again ) and my "feelings" when watching your effort ranged more along the lines of horror, disappointment and worst of all apathy

You're walking a fine line Chris Long,

I mean I'm a big fan but if you think I need your permission to feel the way I do about your performance Sunday well you have another thing coming - cause when you're wearing an Atlanta Falcon jersey next year I'll still be bleeding yellow and gold

Fan base apathy is already at an all time high, Chris - and your effort on the football field is the bond we share - so after watching you suck and crush my hopes for a 2-0 start I feel like my mind needs the protection of just not caring

But I will chose beer yet again

Look I'm not going to go so far as to blame the Rams for my burgeoning alcoholism but for a week after the Seahawks game I thought there was such a thing as just drinking beer not to crush the pain of a trail a failures and broken dreams but as a way to just be fucking jolly

Well after that performer Sunday, Chris, I have a greater appreciation for the mind numbing qualities of beer

Chris - stop tweeting and watch some film on Pittsburgh buddy

Chris Long is a class act who gives 110% every game. There's only so much he can do with players like Cook, Jenkins, Pead, etc. Apparently you can't shame those guys.

Anyway players like Long, Donald, Brockers, McDonald do seem prepared to play every week, week in week out. It's the rest that seem to play when they feel like it. They may have off games, but it's not because they aren't doing the things that should be done.

Long can't do anything about mess that has been our OL for a decade. That's on Fisher and Snead. This has been an obvious need for years. You can't be a fucking running team without controlling the LOS.

Point I'm trying to make is, lay off Long. He's not the problem.

Let's not be a straw man. Good is better than average.

Based on Foles' career he is solid IMO. There is a baseline to work off of. Agree on BC.

As for the defense. If you watched the games last year they were a top 5 D and only added talent this year. So please cut out your condescending attitude. If you disagree on that then fine. The defense played as well as anyone the 2nd half of last year, so statistically your right because they started slowly.

So back to my original thought. If you don't think the coach has talent and high draft picks don't translate to talent then what is your issue? Either way it's the coach who drafted this talent.

So I ask you. Are upset by the coaching or talent evaluation? Or are you just arguing with me to argue? Would love to hear your take. Something is off IMO.

What's my issue?!?! Huh....??? I was simply offering a counterpoint to your 'they have so much talent' assertion. I'm sorry challenging your opinion offends you.

Look, I hope like hell you're right...that the Rams actually do have a ton of talent. And that it's just going to take time for them to 'gel'. And I'll be pleased as punch if that turns out to be the case. Heck, I wouldn't be the least bit upset if they'd at least looked good losing to the 'Skins....sometimes you just get outplayed.

But when a team looks bad against a team that should have been a very winnable game, then I see no reason not to question the 'talent', and will stick to the notion that 'Talent Executes'. It doesn't allow a rookie 95th pick in the draft to look like a future HoF'er.

The Rams simply don't execute...consistently as of this point in time. Right now, 'they are what their record says they are'....a .500 team.

I think that's all you can do.

At the end of the day, our fan base is a battered bunch. I totally understand "this feels all too familiar", because this fan base hasn't felt the other side in a long time.

Me? I'm just not walking the plank yet. It's a new season. Last year has nothing to do with how we play our next game.
No doubt.
Thing that I think of is how long the off season is. It seriously feels like a lifetime. So for me, it's all about maxing out the enjoyment level for as long as I can

I agree, no plank here either. How we perform the next few weeks leading to the bye are crucial though. We need more Seattle level efforts to end this season positive. I think the team can do this, it's all on them.

I never said "what is your issue".

I agree with a lot of what you say. But I also stand by my original point that there is too much talent on this roster to go through what we have gone through the last 10 years.

To do what we did on Sunday against a team in disarray is alarming and reflects a trend with this coach. Yes you are right players have to execute but when the same players make the same mistakes and continue to get rolled out there.....I just think it's fair to look at the coaching.

This is a playoff caliber team IMO. it feels like Fish has received a pass and I include myself in that mob. This is his team, his players, his coaches. It's time for him to do his job. It's time to win.

He played pretty well - but yeah I agree with the sentiment. We've heard talk, we've heard how they're aware of the problem being consistency. There comes a time when it just has to be done on the field and if its not - we must make a change.
