I am pretty sure the deadline is Saturday.

So today or tomorrow morning they are probably calling all the players into Sean's office.

My question is .... who is the guy that all the players will try to avoid today and tomorrow.

It's done the same way you confess you sins, where they make them confess their shortcomings, tell them to pray to McVay, and do 40 Hail Marys. Then they tell them none of this will help them because their ass is still cut.

Changed the title of this thread so that hopefully most cuts will be posted in this thread. Carry on.

I’d preface anything by showing respect to these guys. Regardless of their futures with this team, or any other. I know we make comments about some these guys that are kinda jacked up considering these are people trying to make a living and make a career. So first of all...respect for your efforts and best of luck going forward.

Agreed. Rams gonna be putting some quality players on the market too, a lot of them gonna get jobs shortly thereafter so best of luck to all who don't make it.

Los Angeles Rams Mobile: Rams Make Initial Roster Cuts https://www.therams.com/_mobileview/news/rams-make-initial-roster-cuts

Waived, No Recall

Brown, Fred (WR - Mississippi State)

Ficken, Sam (K - Penn State)

Holley, Nate (DB - Kent State)

Holley, Nick (RB - Kent State)

McElroy, Codey (WR - Southeastern Oklahoma)

Natson, JoJo (WR - Akron)

Williams, Darrell (T - South Florida)

Terminated, Vested Veteran, all contracts

Lucas, Cornelius (T - Kansas State)

Waived, Injured

Laguda, Afolabi (DB - Colorado)

Thompson, Kendal (WR - Utah)

Reserve List Additions

Reserve/Injured;

Davis, Ryan (DE - Bethune-Cookman)

Fox, Morgan (DE - Colorado State-Pueblo)

Earlier this week McVay did mention there is a chance he and GM Les Snead look around the league for possible additions, but they "feel good" about current personnel.

"There might be some players that could be potentially available where if they end up hitting the waiver wire, do they end up giving us an upgrade or do we feel good about the spots," McVay said on Monday.

"Fortunately most of the spots and situations and positions that we're in, we feel good about the guys that we have in our building. Hopefully, we'll stay healthy and be able to work with those guys."

As for those who do not make the 53-man roster, McVay hopes his staff can be supportive, regardless of where a player is headed.

"We as coaches want to do a good job, like you mentioned. Whether it's with us in a practice squad role, whether it's competing for one of those final spots, or whether it's showcasing your skills for one of the other teams in this league - you want to try to do a good job of helping these guys out. Be positive with them, encouraging and that's kind of really our goal as a coaching staff," McVay said.

The league's deadline to set rosters is Saturday at 1 p.m. PDT.

Nothing surprising so far. Not sorry to see Williams and Lucas go. I figured they'd stay with just Noteboom for now with Jamon Brown out for the first two weeks so need an extra body at guard just in case. After week 2 maybe see them switch out a guard for another tackle depending on injuries. But neither Williams or Lucas was doing anything good in the preseason so might as well hit up the waiver wire if needed. The Holley brothers and Natson deserve more chances in the league somewhere.

Damn. I was really hoping Natson would go to the practice squad. I think he will be a returner somewhere in the league.
