Quite right. But it's "up to 18 mil". That's gotta have 2 or 3 escalater clauses there......

# of receptions
# yards
# games played
# TDs

I like the comment at the end...."a weapon for Baltimore's QB"
Will that be Lamar or Tyler Huntley?OBJ, Devin Duvernay, Nelson Agholar and Rashod Bateman......after Mark Andrews (and Isaih Likely), one of those guys is gonna lead the WR group....I hope OBJ agreed to some low escalstors.....only around 350 - 375 completions in that offense with the TE's getting between 100 and 125 of them.
Initial breakdown posted above. $15 million is base/signing bonus the other $3 is incentives that we wont' know just yet. We also don't know how many void years there are to spread the signing bonus out.

OBJ goes to the ravens and helps them recruit Jackson back.

That's a good deal for OBJ and not terrible for Ravens. They might get a great year out of him and don't have to worry about paying him beyond one year if he gets injured.

Lots of players taking one year deals. Hopefully we can get some of them back in 2024.

If you ask me, he got a good chunk of change but I highly doubt Baltimore is going to make him look good. WRs never seem to do well there.

Why couldn't the Rams afford this? And, whose gonna throw to OBJ? Pissed Rams couldn't get it done.
I’m going to go with $15-$18M for a one year deal with a #2 WR does not fit within the Rams’ current budget. Final answer.

More like " Ravens made biggest offer, OBJ to Ravens"

Wish him well but very doubtful of his abilities now. Always will be thankful for him coming to the squad for the run..

Couldn't care less, never expected him to come back.

More importantly, can someone remind me if we get a comp pick for this?

More than the Rams have for 2023
No cap space for 2023. Note: cap space matters when you don't have any. Not a surprise, but another unhelpful development for the Rams.

Not sure how the Rams' offense is going to reach critical mass with two playmakers, Kupp and Stafford.

Did the Jets ever make an offer? With Rodgers going there eventually, that seems a better spot for a 1yr deal. Instead, the Ravens?

Did I read somewhere he may count to the comp pick formula? Wishful thinking I know!

Ravens got better but that hardly helps their money problem with Jackson

I don’t think we do.

While wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. is likely to sign to a contract in this range, he was not on the LA Rams 2022 NFL roster and will therefore not qualify for consideration for an awarded compensatory pick.

Happy for him, I had my doubts when we signed him and he did nothing but impress me. His ball security by keeping the ball away from the defender after a catch is probably the best I've seen.
Same. He would've been Superbowl MVP if he didn't get injured, no doubt. Bengals didn't have an answer worth a damn for him.

Maybe he has a down year with Huntley and decides to come back in 2024.

Personally, I think he is washed. He looked good in McVay's system and with Kupp taking the #1 DB. He did squat before that. I see the Ravens being a laughingstock by week 8 for this deal.

He helped get that Super Bowl win like Weddle and Miller. We couldn't have won the Trophy without key contributions from all three.
