Interviewer for NBC Sports Bay Area & California: "What's your feeling on just how things have gone with the Rams...?"
Todd Gurley: (abt 3:50)
"...honestly. It's really how the Rams kind of approach things. I mean uh, you know, especially since we moved to LA. I think that Les does a pretty good job, you know Stan gives them the go-ahead...they wanna win now and you kinda gotta respect that, on the outside looking in. If you are not apart of, you know, part of what they need to win and move on, then they will either move on from you or get somebody else. That's just how the business goes. The Rams, they do it a little bit different. Unlike other teams, they will , you know other teams will keep a player around, knowing that they're not gonna progress or win with him, so you kinda gotta respect it as a business person you know as a player, whatever. That's just how the game goes. You know, I've seen it since I came in...You know, obviously being there with guys like Chris Long, I think it was Chris Long who didn't come back and then it was Robert Quinn, Will Hayes. I remember Will Hayes defensive end and he got traded. I remember, he said he got traded for like a seventh round pick. He said I got traded for a stpler and a coffee mug. You know, it's just funny..."
