I have noticed this because my son was born in 98'. He himself has said to me that these rookies are his age and talks about their size and athleticism. He laughs because he is a D3 baseball player (graduates this yr) so there is an obvious diff in his athletic world vs these guys.

'48 for me - year of the innovative but short lived Tucker.
(Raise your hand if you don't know what that is).
I remember Dual turntables, Shure M91E cartridges, Marantz tube type receivers and AR speakers.
Vinyl is still the best sound - miss that hiss - but other sources are just too easy these days.
Cheers!

'48 for me - year FDR died.

Quite sure FDR died in 1945 (April 12th) and Truman was running to serve his own term in 1948 against Thomas E. Dewey!

Already edited it. Yeah, Truman defeated Dewey in a huge upset. Confused the two - happens a lot lately.

I got to watch the Four Horsemen Jones, Olsen, Lundy, and Greer in action. But it wasn’t until Gabriel took over at quarterback that it became fun on both sides of the ball.

For a second when I saw The Four Horsemen, I thought of the ranch you must have lived on in Idaho Falls

50 miles south in Pocatello, played football for the Highland High School RAMS OL
I was going to say Pocatello, but wasn't sure that I could spell it and was too lazy to look it up!

Born in 1957. Ah. Umm. What were we talking about again? Oh right I remember. Yeah, I remember when the draft ended soon after I had to get my draft card.

1959'er here. Gabriel to Snow was the first thing I remember about the 1969 Rams. They were 11-0 at the time, and dominating the Saints, 49ers, and Falcons almost every year.
