The National Football Leagues has partnered with an app developer that will allow fans to get an in-seat visit from cheerleaders.
Sports Business Journal reports the NFL has teamed up with Experience in an effort to help improve the in-game experience for fans. On top of having cheerleaders visit fans in their seats, the app will allow fans the opportunity to upgrade their seats and also allowing them to be on the field before the game.

Three teams – the Atlanta Falcons, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Seattle Seahawks – used the app last year and Brian Lafemina, the NFL’s senior vice president of club business development, believes that number will increase substantially. “They believe up to half the league will be deployed for the 2014 season,” he told Sports Business Journal. The Falcons said they sold about 800 experiences per game among its 3,000 season ticket holders.

“Anything from pregame on-field, to a birthday message, to cheerleader visits, to mascot visits, to the fly-by pass, which is a dedicated lane where you don’t wait to get into the stadium,” Jim Smith, the team’s chief marketing officer, told Sports Business Journal. “All the experiential things sold out within the first four hours they were made available.”The NFL clubs will decide whether to make the available to all fans or just season ticket holders.

Oh man, I'm geared up enough already on game day. A lap dance on top of it is certain to make me have a premature accident.

I disapprove... :D

I wonder if you can pick which cheerleader comes and visits.

I want to window shop.

Gih, I'm not saying I don't support this, but man you want some 80 pound girls in skimpy outfits going through thousands of fans, a good chunk probably drunk. Lawsuits are going to skyrocket.

Maybe if you aren't a season ticket holder, pay more and you get in a special section that has this feature.

I guess the man in me didnt think this through.

You are right. I can only imagine all the arrests for sexual assault.

It would irritate me no end.
I am not paying a bunch of money to have some hot chick who probably knows nothing about football cackle in my ear and pretend she thinks Im interesting. So the ladies go to a seat escorted by a security guy or two, blocking people's view, standing up. Bad idea.
If I want that I will save effort, irritation and money and go to a club.

Smacks of "He Hate Me" football. Now getting to go down on the field would be cool but a visit from a cheerleader with 50K people watching????? Hmmmm, sounds like trouble. How bout getting to stand by the tunnel as team comes out? Now that would be cool as hell!
