On Sunday night, the NFLtweeted out a graphic showing seven of the game’s elite quarterbacks and posed the question of which teams will square off in the Super Bowl.

Here’s the problem: The guy who won it last year isn’t pictured.

That’s right, the NFL left New England Patriots QB and four-time champion Tom Brady off a picture of elite quarterbacks.

The NFL would later delete the tweet, as Bruce Arthur of the Toronto Star pointed out.

This looks like a shot from the NFL after Brady’s four-game suspension for his role in the Deflategate saga was overturned.

The league is just pouring gasoline on an already roaring fire. Brady will probably be at his fiercest in 2015, and that’s a terrifying thought for the rest of the NFL.

And for these seven other QBs.

I don't know, seems a little petty. He has more SB MVPs than any of them.

The NFL would rather take a stand against Brady but put up a probable rapist and wasn't he operating illegally when he smashed his bike?

And not for nothing Rogers admitted to liking to push the limits of how much air he puts in his balls

he likes them over inflated. Brady and the cheatriots like them under deflated so they can have the lowest fumble rate ever.

Patriots and their fans are such jerks. They make me throw up a little bit in my mouth.

That is laughable and wishful thinking on the parts of Patriots fans. To think that the commissioners pointing fingers at him will make him play better and cause him to wreak havoc on his opponents because of it is ludicrous. I guess that means he was not giving it his all for the past 10 years.

Dumb is beyond an accurate word for that comment.

I have gotten into this with a guy who lives in Boston but claims to be a Chargers fan because he is from San Diego. He supposedly hates Brady. My theory is that Goodell has had enough with the cheating. He stuck his neck out for the Patriots during Spygate by burning the tapes but probably told them he wont go so easy on them next time. Now they get caught cheating right before the Superbowl when Goodell couldn't possibly take them out of the biggest game of the year and tie his hands. He is pissed and is taking it out on them for making him look like Krafts patsy once again. Goodell doesn't want that label and is furious that Brady and crew couldn't care less... I even speculated that it is possible that he knows that Bill was fully aware of the deflating too but knows he cannot suspend him for a year so he is trying to take it out on Tom as retaliation.

That fellow thinks that it all is a preposterous conspiracy theory. Makes perfect sense to me.

It does make sense. (y)

The fact I hate the Patriots has no impact.

Doubt it.

I'm going to advance a theory, and it's not really all that far fetched. Braby (yes, intentional misspelling) is 38 now. Typically when QBs reach that age, it's about over. And when they decline, it's sharp. It's not a gradual thing. Joe Montana's last season came when he was 38. John Elway's last season came when was 38. Dan Marino's last season came when he was 38. Steve Young's last season came when he was 38.

And Braby's last season is gonna come when he's 38.

This is Braby's last season, and it won't be a full one.

Would have made me happier to see him serve 4 games , instead of this childish stunt. What's next, putting Bradys face on all the official kicking balls?

Maybe if NE cheating wasn't covered up by goodell in the 1st place with spygate they wouldn't think they could get away with anything.Had they been properly disciplined by the NFL back then deflategate probably never happens. The NFL can't pick and choose when they will uphold the integrity of the game and when they won't.So it might have been NE that cheated but the NFL left the door open for them to do so.

Good prediction. However if he is still cheating in some manor that we are not fully aware of who knows how long it can keep him productive.

Especially if Goodall tells the Refs to turn a blind eye on ruffing the passer calls in Patriot games. :sneaky:

A missed opportunity. Brady should have been included in the picture - they should have used this picture though

Why is Carson Palmer in that picture?
