Here is a Secret.....

They never were the best team and anyone with half a brain could tell that.
Seems like all is well with the world...

Need half a brain to tell BALT is not the most balanced team in the NFL.

Being proven BALT is not the most balanced team... therefore, writer is proven not to have even half a brain.

Makes sense to me.

It's what happens when people try to think "outside the box" only for the purpose of having some "fresh take."

Flacco' must be in a contract year.
They have looked good ak fsr and their defense has played very well.

No way they are more compete than our team. I dknt trust Flacco who has been horrible since the superbowl win. I dont know any of their recievers , anyone can score on Pitt and buffalo.

I don't have any ill will towards Flacco but his name is fun to play with.
How about "Flucco" because it sounds like a swear word, but can also be in phrases like "Flucco the Clown."
Imagine a tall crazy looking clown dressed in dark purple, scaring the children.

One stormy freezing winter eve
I saw a little bird with a yellow bill
out upon my window sill
i lured it in with crumbs of bread
then i crushed its freakin head
train

Once a guy named train
He gave a birdie some pain
The bird pooped on him

:yess: you are back and I give you a haiku.

I should start a thread of "welcome back" haiku's for you.

The NFC > AFC

I dunno.........they seem to be pretty close right now at the halfway mark. Lots can change of course but it seems like the two conferences both had the same amount of contenders.

The only way you can tell, and I haven't look in a while, are not the records....unless the AFC contenders play NFC contenders a lot....Insulated records within each conference doesn't mean that much except that we'll see the tallest midgets among shorter midgets (AFC)

HA! That took me back to my Army basic training days when we would march and count cadence!

Of course it was not as eloquently recited as you have here and it had a little harsher adjective at the end but still.

Fond memories of Ft. Ord, California.

They're not allowed to do that one anymore. I wasn't combat arms and those guys play by different rules, so take this with a grain of salt. Anyway, it's not considered "inappropriate" and may offend someone so we were told we can't use that cadence now.

Just the latest example of how dumb it is to crown teams early on.

Maybe the writer got confused and thought today as April fools day instead of Halloween???? This guy is on drugs it would be a dream come true for Rams to make Super Bowl and play the Ravens as opposed to any of the other serious contenders in afc.
