Yeah, I know....like that is news to any of you.

I just read an article on the hype for this Sunday's game against the Bucs. These analysts just don't make any sense anymore. Why even write about a game you know nothing about and just add filler to? It's like reading a Politicians work.

Analyst: "If the moon is out the night before and Mike Evan has eggs for breakfast with Jalen Ramsey having toast, using stats from a game 5 years ago against another team its clear Evans has an advantage and the Bucs will score 400 FGs against a superior Rams laundry service team".

I watched "Inside the NFL" last night and Simms says, "The Rams just have too many stars......not enough depth".....then says, "I like the 49ers because of that starting D-line".......followed later by someone else saying, "Kansas City is just too good because they have so many stars".

I know journalism died decades ago, but why even bother with analysis in the NFL? They should just have "Hype-men" like in "A Knight's Tale".

It isn't even about it being the Rams. I listen to them do the same thing to other teams. Getting tired of watching the brainwashing garbage!
I'm shocked-- SHOCKED-- to learn that talking head "analysts" don't make any sense and write about a game they know nothing about.

Objective, factual truth and serious analysis seem to have a narrow bandwidth and not much traction these days.

I barely watch any of them.
It's okay to watch them as long as you keep in mind, they are paid to talk. It doesn't matter a whole lot what they say, the validity of it or the relevance of it, just as long as they talk. If you're (and I don't me YOU) tuning in to get something you wouldn't get on ROD, RFU or the Herd, good luck.
I will throw this in here. It doesn’t merit its own thread:

Kay Adams is gorgeous. I’ve been hot for her ever since I first laid eyes on her. Despite her Ram hatred I still think she’s smoking.

It all went out the window for me today. That bitch can’t dance! She was dancing on the show today. I expected hotness. Instead she dances like she’s a guy on stage rapping. Total turn off. It was like watching Lil Wayne or Eminem. If a girl dances like a dude she is better off not dancing. Nothing sexy about that.
Okay, this is the second or third time you've posted about Kay Adams and your inner most thoughts. I'll tell you the same thing I told you last time. It's not a Kay Adams problem, it's a YOU problem. In your defense, she is hot. I don't care how she dances. I don't care how much 'she's trying to be sexy'. She's nice to look at.

It literally is one of the easiest jobs and you get paid a ridiculous amount to be stuck in front of a camera. A lot of those former NFL players you can tell they didn't do shit to prepare for certain segments and spew the same bullshit from a week before or lazy journalism that they parrot really and isn't an insight to shit at all.

It really wouldn't take much to prepare yourself for the next day subjects. Or even that morning, it just tells me they don't give a shit and consider an easy pay day for the moment.

What I love is that they obviously listen to one another and then echo the same bullshyte. I really don't think most of them really know what's going on with all 32 teams, but they try to play off that they do.

exactly, they just recan it rebrand it as their world breaking taking. I'm telling you these mother fuckers go home and don't do anything but do the family time thing, come back the next day and ramble on.

That's why I don't get upset when they don't know up to our 3rd string or rotational Offensive Linemen because most of them still struggle that we aren't in St Louis anymore, the dipshits.

Trigger Alert:
I typed St Louis, time for someone to get all up in arms about nothing

.

back when i used to watch nfl live, well not watch it but tape it and fast forward through it until i saw something on screen that might interest me, they had such a hard on for sam bradford. they absolutely hated him, or the producer did anyway. so they used to keep going on about his salary endlessly. when the eagles drafted wentz and sammy didn't show up for a few otas, the dolts on nfl live ripped him mercilessly every day.

then the eagles signed some stiff as a back up for $7m, the guy that's always a back up and made an insane amount of money by being so. chase daniels? anyway the bozos on nfl live started saying that the eagles signed him to start because $7m is way too much for a back up, it's starter money. all the while they stopped mentioning like they had for the weeks before that bradford signed a $20m fully guaranteed deal with the eagles.

you couldn't help but laugh. it's part of the reason i used to listen to those idiots. for the champagne comedy they would come up with, intentionally or unitentionally.

then the rams made the superbowl and these clowns spent two weeks talking about the non call. two weeks, any time that they mentioned the rams. i would fast forward through a whole show and i swear they showed the play from the worst angle about 100 times. no exaggeration.

if i didn't know any better i'd think they were setting up the public for the refs to screw the rams in the superbowl and nobody would say a word. excessive tackling, phantom holding calls, dpi not called, do as you please, nobody will say anything. they'll actually be happy you did it. we need to get the golden boy his 6th superbowl win.

so, after all that, i stopped watching nfl live. disgraceful behaviour by the producers and also by the hosts for going along with it for two fucking weeks. fucking clowns.

it is such an on point movie and would work perfectly right now. facebook, instagram and tiktok have turned at least half the population into mindless morons. maybe 80%.

I know enough about the game and the players that I mute the games, when watching. I just find these dumb arses extremely annoying and hard to stomach. As for NFL Network, I find it hard to believe that anyone in the USA watches that shit show! It should only be shown in foreign countries where that don't understand English or football, for comedy purposes.

Yeah we live in a sickening time of fantasy and stupidity with our media. It's not just football either btw.

Makes me wonder if it's always been like that and I just woke up. Or whether things really have slid into shitsville. :laugh4:
A combo of both.

It's gotten worse.
All the media stuff, imo.
Why? Same thing that would happen if you expanded the NFL to 100 teams and kept going.

I get mad because its just so hard to find any real analysis out there. The producers out there are more dumbererererer than the analysts. How do you let them say the stupid stuff they do without having a plan to weed it out?

Phil Simms is now the Producer/boss of Inside the NFL and was the idiot who made the "Too many Stars" comment. This was a favorite of mine from back in the day when you didn't have forums and mass media......I was always so happy to watch it.
