4.8 per carry is fantastic. And I wouldn't call 98 carries in 16 games a boatload.

Why would a team trade for Mason right now? Cuts are coming, median backs are a dime a dozen, and they know the Rams are gonna most likely cut him.

I'd wait it out for the cut downs if I'm the Steelers or any other team that is thin at RB.

We don't know what his penalty with be yet.

But it will be a penalty and I'm guessing 4 games. I just don't think Pittsburgh would make a trade to replace a suspended RB with another suspended RB.
