He's a Raiders fan so it's gotta be a dream job for him. Plus Vegas rocks man.

Congrats to Vin and thanks for all the great coverage. Just hope the dropoff isn't too profound.

good riddance to him....Like I told him in a tweet imitating Paulie from Goodfellas,
"Now, I'm gonna have to turn my back on you..."

Not what u think or is it? Didn't Vinny try and break the Chargers to England story from The Athletic and the NFL + Dean said not true at all?

Good reporter, and maybe one bad source did him in. Wish him luck and as Mulder would say, Trust no One.

Bummer!!!!!!

Vinny was my fav Rams reporter, well, ever. He had consistently good info, a talented writer, good connections, and in tune with the pulse of the team.

I always knew he was a Raider fan from way back, so I’m not too surprised he took the new job.

I for one will really miss Vinny’s Rams reporting.

Naming Myles Simmons as part of an "All-star" coverage team is akin to naming Craig Dahl as part of an "All-star" secondary..... Which I guess IS a coverage team.... Lolz.

Can’t blame him really.
No idea what these sorts of jobs pay.

This according to @max

Vinny had this offer on the table for weeks. He was struggling with the move. Family lives in LA. The offer was big. Athletic didn’t want him to leave.

Big opportunity to get in on the ground floor in new NFL city with iconic franchise.

FWIW Vincent Bonsignore was one of my favorites that has ever covered the Rams and I will miss him. Hopefully somebody will step up and hopefully @max will have a good rapport with him or her too.

More money......move and pay no state income tax.
A four hour drive or a 40 minute flight to LA.
Done and done.
Can’t blame him.
He was good thought as a Rams reporter.

Yes, bittersweet for me. I'm happy for Vinny (he asked me what I thought and I said you gotta take care of you and your family) but it sucks for me as a Rams fan. Offer was too good to pass on. He needs to get some TV exposure, then come back to LA. (I hope).

And Vinny isn't a Raiders fan, he simply believes they have a strong following in LA. Vinny is actually an old Vikings fan.

I think I'm being fair when I say Vinny was the best we had in LA. The guys in the LA Times are lame. Farmer is knowledgeable but just doesn't put in the time on the Rams. He thinks he's Ernest Hemingway.

Thiry tries hard but doesn't know anything more than what she is spoon fed. I heard her on ESPNLA with Keyshawn and those guys and she said that Goff hasn't been good in the cold OR the rain. That is just sloppy reporting. I was there in NY when Goff was fantastic in the pouring rain against the Giants. Goff is perfectly fine in the rain. Oh, well, thats what we've got.

He did break the story. All it said was that the league had discussed the possibility of a move. Despite the denials, it still could be 100% accurate. In fact, I got the feeling that most outside of Mike Foolio didn't trust the denials much.

Not surprised, Vinny is a lifetime Raider fan. (I doubt Vinny is a Viking fan)

He definitely gave good info. Never click bait. Reasonable analysis. The fucking traiders do us again

Yeah, whenever Mark Fabiani needed a talking point repeated or rumor/innuendo spread, it seemed like Vinny was always there as the tool on the spot. That made him anti-Ram. Really dgaf about w/e team he was a fan of or not.

Best wishes on his new job. Glad he got one. Glad he's gone.

. . .and he could never replace Ramona Shelburne at LADN.
