McVay said he’s optimistic that Kupp will be returning by game 5, as everything is leaning that direction.

He will be back in time for the Eagles. Word is he's on track.

Rams HC Sean McVay said it's "the hope" that WR Cooper Kupp (hamstring) will be ready to return next week. “He’s progressing. He’s doing a good job," McVay added. "But I don’t want to pigeonhole myself into (anything). He’s ramping up his workload ... When you’re talking about ‘returning to performance’ and ‘returning to play’ those are different things. We want him to be able to ‘return to performance’ at the level he’s capable of, and so we’re continuing to take it a day at a time. I know he’s doing everything in his power to be able to get himself ready to go and get out there with his teammates. Hopefully next week will represent that. If not, I’ll keep you guys posted.” It sounds like Kupp is trending in the right direction -- but isn't necessarily a lock to play next week. We'll keep you updated on the situation.

So as per the NFL rules if Kupp isn’t ready until week6 do the extend him out a week? Or do they have to do it in 4 week intervals?

IIRC, After the 4 weeks is up he has like a 3 week window to become active

I still don't know if Jackson will become one of those. We sure do have a some fragile linemen.

I don’t wanna be a Debbie Downer but I’m skeptical Kupp plays week 5. McVay did indeed say Kupp was ramping up his activity but also reiterated (as he did in August) that there’s a difference between “returning to play” and “returning to performance”. Especially if we win Sunday, I don’t think McVay wants to roll out an 85% Kupp, even though Philly is weak in the secondary right now.

All three play different roles. We will probably run three receiver sets (as we do most of the time) with Kupp, Puka, and Tutu.

Van spells whoever needs a break.

You also have to remember what happened with Burrow. The Rams might make it sound like Kupp isn't going to play even if he is.

Then went to Detroit and beat the Lions... giving up ONE LOUSY sack...

I hope Kupp can come back for the Eagle's game but if he is not 100% plus 50 keep him on the bench.
