I thought he'd be ready, but at least this is the preseason PUP list, and he can come back any time. If he ends up on the regular season PUP, then he will have to sit out at least 6 games.

I guess we don't know... But I suspect a scope isn't going to keep him out of serious time (unlike an injury).

By itself, no, but if the scope didn't fix the problem, then who knows.

I would just like to know if the issue is that he's still recovering from the scope or if his knee problems are continuing because the scope was not effective.

I hope he's ready to start the season. It will be nice to have two TE receiving threats.

The only reason I feel like this is a non issue right now is because no one from the organization has addressed it or been asked about it by the media....granted it could be an issue if this continues....but I have a feeling, Fish being a players coach and all, this is just precautionary.

OH...and if I'm not mistaken, since he is on the pup list...I believe he does not count against the roster number....allowing the coaches more time to evaluate the other tight ends.

On Kendricks (FB/H-back move TE) has been a little slow as of late last season...sometimes those (just scoped) become much more. This could be the case here. Kendricks can participate in team meetings, & take advantage of the training and medical facilities, but cannot practice with the team.Lance can be moved off the PUP list to the active roster at any time, even after one practice.

Lance absence give others a much better chance to show out here. First name comes to mind is Harkey who is much bigger and stronger. Cameron Graham will enter his second Ram TC & pre season is the same kind of player as Lance but has more speed & much better hands. 2nd yr pro Mike McNeil is another player who also could surprise from what I understand he has really thickened up @ the same time got much better in the passing side of things. UDFA's TE's Philip Lutzenkirchen & Colbe Prince along with Zack Potter round out a good young talented cadre in my opinion.

I really like Lance & have no fears that he will be Wamming it often when the season starts!

I wonder whats up with Cudjo? I would hate to have injuries attack our DT's early again like last season. Wonder if he pull his back out getting out of bed with those massive two tree trunk size arms he has attached to each side?

St. Louis Rams DT Jermelle Cudjo (foot) and S Matt Daniels (knee) will begin training training camp on the Physically-Unable-to-Perform (PUP) list.

I asked about this when Bradford mentioned it during his self-held camps this offseason a couple weeks ago. Everyone told me around then that it wasn't anything to be worried about and that he should be fine by the season.
