Man I think you guys are in trouble!!! They completely neutralized AD/Suh (Their O line is crazy good), Kupp was clutch factor/safety blanket and is there no more, Tysom Hill provided X factor spark on his run on 4th down ( I think Asshole Face will throw in several wrinkles with him in this game) , Kamara and Thomas were just beast mode as usual, Brees laser focused and accurate.. Their only player that stunk it up was Ingram with that fumble (but he is usually sure handed). Plus they get Ginn back to offset Talib returning.. and they get Davenport in this game who is really coming along (so i think the rankins injury is a wash).... YIKESSSSS I was favoring the Rams from just listening to media but man I don't think this will even be close in that dome during playoffs (especially with Asshole Face pleading to the fans to be extra loud in last 15 sec of each Rams play). Good luck, but I think this will be a blowout like last game, 35-14 Saints!

Without sarcasm though, the audacity to come to a Rams board, play pretend objective observer, and make a bold blowout prediction against the Rams based off of one half of football over two months ago while purposefully ignoring the second half of play and the rest of the season in general is astounding. Truly. Kudos.

I posted the second half update as well. And I gave props to woods, AD, kupp, goff... but the saints just dominated the game in the trenches and have mike thomas and Kamara who are once in a lifetime offensive players ...Gurley is the only once in a lifetime offensive player on rams but the saints proved they have an answer for him with superior limebackers.. I dont get why everyone is so offended

The one thing I remember is the atrocities the defense committed against good tackling form. If they shore that up I know we win this game!

@DitkaPunch did you really make a prediction after only watching a half of the game? What a freaking amature.

This is why McVay is who he is. The week off, what did he have the team focus on intensely? Technique. And it paid off as we did almost everything better.

So every good play the Rams offense makes is a fluke and the Saints offense is unstoppable. The same Saints offense that scored 10 points against the Cowboys D that the Rams just destroyed. Got it.

Well, it's been a good run. Better luck next year, fellas.
Can someone answer if the Superdome is actually louder for a playoff game in 2019 than it was in previous postseason appearances???

If so, then please explain

Well because of all the criticism for not watching the second half I sat down and watched it. And oh boy, I am not sure why the Rams fans would want me to watch that, I thought the Rams played way worse in the second half. First of all, the first TD drive by Rams was a fluke to Brown (but fluke plays happen in every game so we will let that one slide). The Saints clearly got complacent and were not as efficient until they needed to be (more on that later). The second TD drive occurred because of a crazy lucky tipped pass from Kupp that landed into Cook's hands. The third TD drive was legit BUT it was Kupp who made it happen (he is not there anymore!) Cooks is a one trick pony and Woods is legit but after that I can see why Goff has been struggling without him. Anyways, now the game was tied and the Saints clearly said OK enough is enough we got this, and what better way to make a statement than Kamara hurdling over a Rams defender to lead them to a FG (3 uncalled PI on Rams defense on that drive). The Saints defense then shut out the Rams, and Thomas blew the lid on the rams secondary to go up by 10 again and make an important phone call. So what did the second half show? Little bit of luck by Rams and Saints clearly controlled the game when they wanted/needed to. Gurley had one good run in second half. Rankins was a nonfactor in running game, it was the great run shut down by Saints linebackers.. again I don't understand why media is going crazy over Rankins getting injured- he is a good player but they have a lot of depth behind him and the Linebackers are why the run defense has been great. Anyways I am tempted to increase the prediction to 40-17, but I will keep it at 35-14 as the saints have lately focused on longer sustained drives (set an NFL record for longest drive in their last game vs Eagles). Sorry guys, I think you are a good team, but no one is stopping these saints, they are beasts in the tranches and have cantguardmike.
Congrats!

You win one of our most coveted awards!

Longest paragraph with random, run-on thoughts!

Sorry, dude... can't read them... especially when they're full of excrement.

Yeah - I'm not feelin' it @DitkaPunch. You post this thread and then are all over it just a few minutes after joining? Don't troll the membership or you will find yourself out of here very quickly. It is clear you haven't spent any time getting a feel for this site or our culture. My suggestion is that you check yourself a bit.

A template on how the Rams can defeat the Saints. 65 rushing yds by the Saints. 127 yards passing by Brees who had lots of pressure on him. Notice the amount of bonehead mistakes by both teams along with sloppy tackling by the Saints. I'm guessing they will be much sharper on their own field but one can hope.

The OP sounds like a closet Saints fan...:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

He forgets the furious comeback that tied the game at 35.

No matter though...this game is a different animal...and both Ram and Saints fans that aren't concerned are either liars or clueless!(y)

The Rams had just traded for Fowler when we played the Ain'ts last time as well. I'm expecting a big game from him now that he's been in the "system" for several weeks. I'm also hoping he realizes that his big opportunity for a nice contract could be enhanced with a great showing.

This team is a lot different than in week 9. To say that Talib and ginn is a wash is laughable. Talib allows the entire defense to be played at its highest level and there is no way thomas has even close the day he had last time.

Davenport and rankins another wash?? GONG!!! Run that silliness past saints fans. I hope you wash your underwear better than you wash your substitute player assessments.

The rams have the best rushing oline and the best rushing attack in the league right now. They are peaking at the right time. The saints however are going in the other direction averaging a whopping 19 points over tha last 6 games including only 20 against a pitiful and depleted eagles secondary in the dome.

Once the rams quiet the crowd with some ass pounding on the ground the saints and their fans will be begging for Goff, who just happens to lead the league in intermediate passing (10-30 yards) at 11.1 for 2330. Do their fans know this? Of course not but they will once he makes the saints mediocre secondy suck it. And they will suck it.

Don't be surprised when Goff passes at will and by that I mean corners pj williams and Marcus Williams. It won't be long until the saints decide they'd like to go back to the rams crushing ground game and hope for the best.

marcus Williams is not a corner... anyways, this best rushing attack was shut down in the last matchup. Talib has not played a full match up yet. The saints did lose Watson, so that actually is a big loss for them. But if you look at the last game

QB - Brees > Goff
RBs- Rams I'll say have advantage but Catching RBs- Saints have advantage (Kamara is special)
WRs- Rams have advantage (but Thomas is special)
OL- Saints > Rams D line
LB- Saints > Rams rush attack as evidenced by previous game (C.J Anderson will be stopped even more easily if you are going to argue that now they have him.)
Saints Pass Rush> Rams Oline (have you guys seen Davenport??) don't just look at the stats
X factor- Tysom Hill he can change momentum with just one play
ST- saints have advantage
Superdome- no team in playoff history has beaten the saints in Superdome since Asshole Face and brees have been there.
