Given all the off-field issues, doubtful he was going in the 1st 3 rounds. In this politically correct era, teams can't afford to take high risk picks in the early rounds like before. He may have a Top 3 round physical talent, but a bottom round off field grade probably equals out to right about where the Rams got him.
My biggest concern is the "redshirt" year. With a 53 man roster and as injuries pile up thru the course of a season, that spot is going to become more and more valuable. Wouldn't hurt my feelings to see him get a training camp/pre-season "injury" and end up on IR for the season. Rehabilitate/"hit the weight room, make up for the missed off season and be ready to go for OTA's next year.
