What the hell? I feel like the 10 year old who becomes depressed a half hour after opening the last Xmas present. I'm jones-ing for another big move even though I know it's unhealthy. Can someone just give me another hit of fantastic-but-somehow-possible trade rumor?

Debating trades that have already happened is like a glass half-full/empty exercise. I want to debate the rumor that we could trade next years 1st round and 3rd round pick for a one year rental of Jadeveon Clowney. You haven't heard that rumor? I just made it up. I'm just antsy about Demoff and Snead's long-term plans for these guys. The average viewer will look at this as a Dream Team scenario but the way these contracts are structured provide a good contingency plan in terms of compensation picks; now it's just a test whether the Rams FO can keep most of the roster intact. My ideal scenario in the next two years would be to sign Joyner, Donald, Gurley, Goff, Peters, and Cooks to new deals.

This is a decent try but I just can't buy into it because he wouldn't fit under the salary cap with his $19m. Maybe if Von Miller was also willing to restructure his contract for the opportunity to play near Hollywood because Marvel Studios also just signed him to a three movie deal (for a superhero role to be named later). Now I can buy it.

You pose an interesting question, but many fans questioned the fits of most of these players. Personally, I wasn't a Watkins fan, at all, and that was just based on play. I own an Ogletree jersey, I mocked him to us, I really like the player, but he was sub-par last season. I also own a Quinn jersey, but injuries, and the new system made him look like a 4-3 DE only. Tru is a good corner, but the writing has been on the wall for quite a while, and I believe we got better there for sure.

So, IMO, we didn't lose any crucial players, yet we gained crucial players, and almost as importantly, we have put the league on notice that we are willing to take some chances, and make some deals, which I believe opens some doors and windows for us.

I would have thought the Rams were tanking if you told me before free agency started they would be losing Ogletree, Quinn and Watkins . I was prepared for the loss of Tru.
I would have thought the Rams were delusional if you told me before free agency started they would be picking up Suh, Peters and Cooks. I was prepared for the addition of Talib.
All in all the most exciting free agency leading to hopefully an exciting year followed by WTF are the Rams going to do to compete with this next year???? #1 - better sign Donald to 5 year contact!!!
