I was there today, it was crazy, never seen that many news crews. I'll try to post some pics. Sorry guys, been busy, crazy family shit, been trying to help a lifelong buddy to acquire his life long dream of building, and opening his own restaurant. I was lucky to be there today. An associate in construction has an office directly across the street.

Miss you guys. Anyone else there today?

The stadium design is the new version of the 'bowl' architecture made famous in the 50's/60's i.e old Veterans Stadium in Philly

I'm sure it's going to be beautiful, state of the art, adding brand new concepts, offering entertainment all across the stadium. Pretty much a destination park that will attract lots of fans of opposing teams. Unfortunately it will lack intimacy(just look at how few seats are really 'on top' of the field), a loyal base of blue collared fans or any kind of special charm. All I am hoping for is that the players on the team love playing there. It's going to be a bummer when we have to share the stadium with another fan base.(Chargers)

I think the best possible stadium that this franchise could have built would have been one in STL along the Mississippi River with a view of the Arch in one of the open ends of the stadium.

Jack, are you on crack. Comparing this new stadium, one better than Jerrys place in Dallas to the old round, plain, multipurpose stadiums in Phiily, Pittsburgh, Cincinnati, OAKLAND is just crazy.
Me thinks you were a little bummed about the Rams moving back home.

I'm not comparing the stadium to Veterans stadium - I was simply saying that i'm prepared to see every new stadium being copy cats. I have no loyalty to where this team plays. Check out my location under my avatar. But for what it's worth I prefer LA to STL due to size of the market and player's desirability to want to play in a city like LA

I really wonder what Kroenke thinks about the Chargers possibly moving to LA.

On one hand it limits his own marketing for the Rams and he doesn't have the market to himself. On the other hand it's more days of fans paying for parking and buying concessions that he earn tons on.

Must be an odd conversation to have with yourself.

From the radio reports I've heard, he wants LA to himself.

He's probably rooting hard for Raiders to Vegas.. That'll keep Spanos from feeling the need to rush to LA and he can actually make San Diego work.

There is a video with Alex Flanagan interviewing Kronke on NFL moble. I don't know how to attach it to this site. It's in Rams news.

im from socal lived here all my life had season tickets to the coliseum and Anaheim was hoping they would just build that stadium on the River. perfect place for a stadium. Downtown Inglewood not so much. I wont drive to that place the traffic is ridiculous it would take me 4 hrs to get 80 miles. sucks for the loyal fans in STL but im sure some of the oldschool Ram fans feel the same as you about losing a team. I for one wont forget the good years they had in STL.

I just find it Hilarious, when you stop and remember, many years ago, Al Davis wanted L.A. to build a NEW Stadium in Inglewood, Because he thought it wood be the "Perfect Place". And they wouldn't do it! He told them they would regret the decision! And now these many years later It's being Built!! He's probably Looking down Laughing right now!!(y)
