When is the NFL gonna gives Rams a break on s.o.s. Always seems like they have a tough schedule.

What? You think the Patriots schedule; Buffalo, Jets, Bucs is actually easier than ours?

Oh, wait a minute. Hell yeah it is! :nono:

The Falcons defense doesn’t have to be great this year, it just has to be good enough.

But they lost one of their key parts today, as Falcons coach Mike Smith said defensive end Kroy Biermann was out for the year after suffering a torn Achilles. Fullback Bradie Ewing is also headed to IR with a shoulder injury.

That's just the luck of the draw, really. It's set up to take advantage of the previous year's SOS, but we all know that only occasionally carries over to the following year. Every year we play against 4 teams from another division within our conference on a rotating 3-year cycle, then 4 teams from the other conference on a rotating 4-year cycle, and finally 2 intraconference games with teams who placed the same in *their* respective division.

The only way the NFL could control a schedule to favor a team would be when games are played. At home for NE late in the year vs. warm weather teams like Miami or Arizona for example. Playing a Thursday game vs. a cupcake before a tough road game....giving extra time off and to prepare. What teams are on the schedule is determined by a formula based on wins. This is why you never hear coaches complain about the teams the play but you do hear them complain about everything else.
