It's not a make it or break it year, not with the youth around him. He should show some significant steps in improvement but as for make it or break it? Not even close.

After this year he will have 2 more years on his deal. That is usually when the franchise QB gets their extension. But I suppose you're right, perhaps the year after this one will be the true make-or-break.
