How do you become a veteran or get experience without playing??... Hill was an Undrafted Free agent that didn't take a snap in a real game with the Vikings for the first 4yrs. Signed with the 9ers and didn't play a snap for a year. Got his chance ONLY when Dilfer got a concussion and was sidelined. Hill THEN got the starting job for the rest of the season.... 13 years in the league, didn't play the first 5yrs, got to start after the starter was out injured..... Career:: 35 games, 61.9% completion, avg 184 yds game, 41 TDs, 24 Ints, 85.3 QBR, and only 9 passes that have gone for more than 40 yds. Not knocking Hill, but why is he any better than AD? His numbers aren't terrible, but do we think he will get better over night? Most of the fans wanted AD cut for Keenum and Gilbert just 4 weeks ago. Look what he has done to change everyone's opinion of him with just 2 games. Definitely has possible Upside. With the Spark he appears to supply the Team and Fans with, Start AD and just see. If it don't work out, go to Hill. He was a back up when he got here..... By the end of the season with AD, we could either have: 1. a veteran backup (save a draft pick) 2. a possible #1 starter (Save a draft pick) or Hill has to finish it off....

Give the kid a chance he's been playing pretty good to this point and I for one am glad to see our quarterback finally show some passion and emotion during the game,and think the rest of the offensive players want him out there they are responding to him.
