To quote Alec Ogletree: "We heard all week how great they were, what are they going to do when they get hit in the mouth today?!"

Other than the fact that this article is poorly written and in need of serious editorial, it really exaggerates Thomas’s remarks. While the writer makes several valid points...this is a homer piece that shouldn’t be considered journalistic.

With that said, I hope the Rams blow the Seahawks out by 30 points and cement this team as a New Era squad who will control the division for years to come (provided we continue to improve the roster through the draft and FA as next year’s Rams’ personnel will be overhauled once again).

...he doesn't really say much that's disrespectful in this clip. Compliments the coach. Doesn't go out of his way to give us praise, certainly, but so what? Of course he's gonna feel that his team's better, and that they've got to key in on our misdirection, and that doing so will stop us. Kind of par for the course.

I dont think it was disrespectful but i think that they dont have any respect for our team and feels like they have to earn it.

I think the Rams shows up really focused and determined to show the Seahawks that this is nit the same team. Im just excited for the game

A nice use of the famous Mike Tyson quote here.

Mike said, "Everybody has a plan until they get punched in the mouth".

Misdirection. Wasn't any bad mouthing the Rams offense. The Hags usually are very quick to react. It will be interesting to see what McVay comes up with to slow them down. He may just attacks them straight up. If they come with 8 in the box I can see Goff throwing it to attack them,

I get quickly tired of all these silly mind games. Let's get on the field and settle this thing!

I'm with you Leo. I make grammatical errors sometimes too. But the syntax and sentence structure is torturous. I couldn't make it past:

"McVay is furious of Thomas remarks..."

Aside from the grammar, where is the proof? A quote? Or is this an assumption on the writers part, which is journalistically irresponsible. McVay is way too smart to let out this kind of reaction. Didn't happen.

That said, as you noted Leo, I do badly want a statement blowout. I rewatched the highlights of last years 24-3 loss in Seattle. Goff was learning, and getting little protection, but actually made some nice throws. The Rams were closer than the score appeared, though we cannot afford the coverage breakdowns or stupid penalties.

Wow, how much fun would Scam Newton have with this bimbo, her whole intent was to rule him up, good for him not to take the bait

Earl Thomas, sheesh, I kind of respected this guy.

Look at his own QB, Russell Wilson. Has this guy ever been able to stand in the pocket and consistently make plays? Nope, just about every big play he makes is something outside the pocket when everything has broken down. It's like playground football. About as gimmicky as it gets.

I love it and I hope every player on that team feels that way. Sean McVay preaches respect, but don't fear and I'm not sure Fisher ever understood that hence playing down to your opponents. Clearly ET doesn't understand it.

Overconfidence leads to a punch in the gut that's hard to recover from.

I just saw on tv that he got a call from Prime Time and in the interview he gave props to Goff. He basically said he's definitely better than last year and noted that Goff was able to look him off a few times.

I'd agree with him. That second to last throw of the game he looked off the defense the entire play then came back to Kupp at the last second and threw a laser that hit him right in the hands with anticipation.

Just a little more touch, but that play from him was still a thing of beauty right when it mattered the most.
