They weren't 5 yards out when it all started! Everyone talks smack! And as far as not backing it up .. IF they Try to .. I'm OK with it! They gave the effort! Look at the stats, if not for a couple of plays, the Rams WIN!
Thanks, I needed a good laugh.

FWIW the second guy is almost always the one who gets flagged,JUST like two years ago when Finnegan bated the penalty that won us the Washington game.
BTW I don't see one on Ogletree for that incredibly late hit that got that whole melee started, which if it wasn't called I HOPE we can agree should have been.
The Penalty on Maurice Alexander , isn't he a Ram?

Those DQ's for the melee on the sideline ,if they'd come on our sideline and we had kicked the crap out of them I'd forgive that, but Ogletree started that and all those fouls IMO are our fault . So the red highlighted stuff I see as 6 for us 3 for them.
So be it. You've successfully turned a stat line that proves a negative for the Giants into a negative for the Rams.

I did nothing except put blame where I think it belongs , the players , I just called it like I saw it. I expect a higher standard and I think when you have guys who get paid millions of dollars to play a game and you hold them to lower standards of behavior than the people who play for nothing, somethings wrong.
OBTW I will say there should have been one more unsportsmanlike penalty on the Gints that guy who walked down the endzone jawing with the crowd after he was ejected ,he should have been flagged as well.

I think Fisher lost control of his team yesterday , he wasn't in control when the hands up came down, nor when Cook critiqued the coaching, I'm not liking the way these guys are acting I'll make no secret of it , sooner or later they need to put up or shut up and and 6-9 ain't putin up , I may be an old fogie ,but I see a connection between crappy records and the lack of discipline I thought they showed yesterday, just do ,I'd have sat a few of them down, apparently Fisher and I don't see it the same way OR as I said before MAYBE he just would rather deal with things like that behind closed doors, dunno.
I'm sure because this was a NY team this is going to have more legs than had it been the Titans or the Panthers and like the "douchebag announcer " said the film will tell the league more and we'll see if there are any fines or suspensions forthcoming ,I won't make any predictions there ,just the one that it probably isn't over.

Man, we couldn't see this any differently unless we purposely set out to take polar opposites sides on it from the get go.

That's cool though. Is what it is.

Do you condone late hits 5 yards out of bounds? Talking smack and not backing it up? Cuz that's what we're talking about.

What late hits are you even talking about? Ogletree's? Because that wasn't a late hit. And I don't condone some punkass rookie talking smack before the game and punching one of our players after a legal tackle.

It wasn't called because it was not a late hit. Thor, I respect you a ton, but I was at the game. I saw it live. I saw Beckham throw a punch. Beckham started the whole damned thing.

Ogletree was 'legal' when he initiated contact. And if he'd have just pushed Beckham out of bounds, there would be no issue. But he clearly put more than a little 'extra' on it beyond that. They don't wind up on the ground halfway to New Jersey if not.

How Tree & Beckham didn't both get thrown out of the game still puzzles me. That would have been warranted. It was almost as though the refs picked the players who would least likely affect the outcome of the game to eject.

I recently heard that OBJ had Ogletree by the facemask as they were falling. Can't really push off if that's happening.

OBJ can go freak himself. He taunted us on both of his touchdowns, and he punched Ogletree after a legal tackle. McLeod should've taken that freaker's head off. I hate that freaking douchebag so goddamn much.

He taunted us and got penalized. What do you see Tavon Austin or our defense doing everytime we get a big play? We get in their faces and talk trash. I love when we do it, but when a team does it to us we are supposed to get pissed at them and let our players try to take out a player of theirs? No thanks. I won't be a fan of a team that does that. I love the Rams. I love our talent. But good God we need some better coaching or better people out there. It's just a damn game. No need to try and take someone out.

Yes he praised the St. Louis fans after he realized he been a horrible one sided announcer and used that short rant to dig himself out of the hole. Notice how after a while of announcing they both didn't say anything specifically after the penalty that was picked up? The production crew corrected his ass and shortly after that he has ' how good the STL fan base is" Yeah, can't dig yourself out that hole he dug for being a dickface.

This is our house. Period. Some little punk thinks he's the second coming of Jerry Rice with a Deion Sanders complex needed to be taught he could go and do that crap elsewhere but not in St. Louis. He shut his damned mouth after a while when he realized we wouldn't be disrespected anymore.

NEWS FLASH: This isn't the 4 pillars era anymore. Spags isn't the head coach. I don't know if you've heard but Jeff Fisher is our coach now...welcome back! :)

Again this isn't the Spags era, there are no 4 pillars just physical football. I don't understand how people don't like old school football anymore. The way the game should be played was how it was yesterday. Yes, we did have some dumb penalties and we lost but we aren't going to take a beating and let them showboat and down right disrespect us in our own house. That's not going to happen anymore. Someone needs to stand up after the past decade and change the ATTITUDE of this franchise and we saw that yesterday.

The kid is great. He beat us like we were rented mules. He abused Trumaine, and did so all game. Taking out a player isn't the answer to try and stopping them. That isn't the Rams team I know. And that was not a legal tackle. TJ hit the kid three yards out of bounds. Quit trying to defend us when we are in the wrong. I just hope coach Fisher does something about this.

^^This

So, while OBJ is at it, he causes Tree to push him that much farther out of bounds, then tries to throw a punch. Who's the instigator?

This is for perspective purposes only. A lot of people have a new distaste for the guy but I wanna know if they would accept him in horns.

why? why do you wanna know? he's a fucking cocksucker. that's all i need to know. i haven't seen the giants play all year and the first time the rams tackle him, short of the 1st down marker on 3rd down, he gets up and starts mouthing off to them. first thought that came to my mind, what a mother fucking, big elephant DNA rifle sucking, motherfucking cocksucker.

are you gonna become a giants fan so you can fawn over him?

Yea. Fuck Tom Brady. But you better bet I'd accept him on this team.

I'm less concerned with Ogletree. I just rewatched it, Beckham Jr. 110% had him by the facemask...the entire time. Before he hit him, Beckham Jr. grabbed his facemask and never let go. He definitely instigated it and then threw the first punch.

I'm more concerned with McDonald. I want to know what Beckham did to get him so mad. He did something. Players don't just push a guy out, let him go, and then run 3 yards out of bounds to get in their face. I really want to know what happened on that play.

Regardless, next time, don't do all this unnecessary shit. Lock him down. And McLeod, if he wants to talk, take the flag. Don't pull off. Knock his ass out like you did to Emmanuel Sanders. I bet you T.J. would have. Thom Brennaman was going to act like a gigantic vagina and blame you for trying to do that anyways.

Ogletree shoved him to the ground out of bounds but Beckham Jr. had him by the facemask the entire time...which is probably why he shoved him...because the guy would not let go of his facemask.

Beckham Jr. instigated the fight and threw the first punch.

Thanks for those shots Jrry...confirms what I have heard also.

Beckham should have been ejected for throwing the ball at Tree. I have seen it before

I'm frustrated with McDonald and to a lesser extent Ogletree. There is no reason they should have lost their composure like that. None. If you want to play physical and defend your turf, do what McLeod did.

I had no problem with the Ogletree deal - in fact, by looking at the picture, it looks like he initiated the hit when OBJ was still in bounds. But I'm still shaking my head at the stupidity of the McDonald taunting penalty... was just stupid and made absolutely no sense to get in some guys face 10 yards out of bounds for no reason.

Yeah if your going to be upset about anything it would probably be that taunting penalty. I can hear that argument.
