My taste in music has NOT changed. I do like a broad range of genres though.

But overall... my tastes are the same today as they were before MTV.

I have always been a huge fan of Reggae. Nobody else in my household was. My mother was kind enough to take me to see Bob Marley play in Honolulu when I was pretty young. She hated it completely, but she enjoyed making me happy enough to sit through it with me. My parents both were confused as to why I liked reggae so much back then.

As I said before though... I enjoy a wide range of genres... and I mean all across the board.

I can immediately tell if it's something I don't like though. That's why I say my taste has NOT changed.

Just thinking about it... I wonder if your taste in music may be more susceptible to change if you have a more limited number of genres in your wheelhouse.

My musical taste honestly hasn't changed. I can listen to most songs, ranging from rap to metal to rock to alternative to pop, from the occasional reggae to the occasional (except, I mean very occasional) country. I'll even listen to the occasional classical.

I just love music.

I wouldnt say mine has changed..I'm just all over the map. I listen to everything from Mozart to Metallica. It just depends on what mood I am in and what I am doing/working on at the time. I need background noise all the time. On a smooth jazz kick now

I will say that the last job I was on, the homeowner is a big Springsteen fan and Tom Petty fan. and he bragged about having 197 Springsteen songs downloaded and almost the same for Petty, and I was forced to listen to all of them for about 3 weeks straight. If i never hear Louisiana Rain or The River again it will be too soon.
