The winless Browns have been a mess on the field this year, and they have some problems off the field as well.

According to Mike Garafolo of NFL Network, last week in Houston receivers Kenny Britt and Corey Coleman were both sent home early after they missed Saturday night curfew. Britt and Coleman had both already been ruled out for the game against the Texans with injuries, but they traveled with the team and were expected to attend meetings and team functions and stand on the sidelines during the game. Instead, they were already on the way back to Cleveland by kickoff.

The incident is the latest in a long line of disappointments for both players in Cleveland. The Browns signed Britt to a four-year, $32.5 million contract this offseason, and he’s been a big disappointment. Coleman was a first-round pick last year, but he’s been limited by injuries and has just 39 catches so far in his NFL career.

The Browns have not publicly addressed the matter. Britt is listed as questionable for tomorrow’s game against the Titans with knee and groin injuries, while Coleman remains on injured reserve with a broken hand.

I honestly believe Britt had a lot to do with Quicks failure.
What a pitiful role model for a rookie to have.

The go-kart scene in hard knocks might be proof of that

Thank god that jack ass isn’t around our WR’s now! Don’t want him influencing one bit! Have a feeling Tavon might have a small percentage of Britt in him that rubbed off.

Not that I care at all about Britt, but I believe britt was signed a year or 2 after quick was drafted. Most of quick's problems was Quick's inability to pick up the playbook. He was lame all on his own. Put them together and my guess is they were bad influences on each other. Kind of a bad synergy.

Pay attention NFL Front Office. Here's a good example of why fans are losing interest.

Kenny Britt - WR - Browns
The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports Kenny Britt is in danger of getting cut.

Britt is "on thin ice" after being sent home for missing curfew last week. He's expected to play Sunday, but can't afford another slip up. Britt has been a huge disappointment, struggling with injuries and catching just eight passes in the four games he's been active. The Browns wouldn't save any money from releasing Britt.

A Fisher player at his finest. Good riddance to having to cheer for players like that in the hopes they mature eventually.

Anyone who has fought hard for the Rams I hate to talk bad about, but I too am glad Britt is gone.

He’s made a living in the NFL, but I’m not sure he’ll ever grow up.

A leopard never changes its spots....It had been proven when you give Britt guaranteed money, he did not live up to that contract. Quite frankly, Hue Jackson & company are really struggling in so many ways.

i was quite happy when the rams signed britt as i thought fisher would get the best out of him. unfortunately his best wasn't that good as his drops in crucial situations undone whatever good plays he made throughout the games. don't know what the browns were thinking giving him so much guaranteed money. $10.5m fully guaranteed, you kidding me? you gotta make this guy work for his money otherwise he just loafs around.

Fight the man Britt!
Don't let those jerks tell you what to do.
You the man!
Nobody tells Kenny Britt what to do!

We'll always have a place for you here in the Rams organization motivating the rookies and showing them how to be a Pro's Pro.

Such a team leader and a veteran example that he sets. As the rest have said I'm so glad we didn't retain him.

If he hasn't learned by now, never will. Great addition by subtraction.
