Depressing. You could hear the emotion in his voice over the last question about never knowing what could have been this season and being a part of it.
Brutal.

I still believe in Sam. I would love to see Sam lead us to several Superbowl victories,. I feel so bad for him right now.

Man what a guy.As Steven Jackson's jersey to me represents grit and passion through the darkest times, Sam Bradford's jersey will represent the process of reconstruction. Can't ask for a better person than him to represent my team. I'll proudly wear his jersey this Sunday and beyond.

I'm wearing my Bradford jersey in support of him Sunday as well. Thought about going with my Tavon Austin jersey since Bradford is out but after this I have to rock #8.

One question I have for you guys, in the ACL operation, if a cadaver's ligaments are used, does it depend on the cadaver how successful the operation is? What I mean is if Sam gets ligaments from a 70 year old beer drinking, chain smoking' couch potato, will it be as good as for example a healthy and fit 20 year olds ligaments?
No way a pro athlete that wants to compete again will go the cadaver route...He'll strip some tendon from his own hamstring (think he's already used his patella). Someone posted a great article on the subject in here a couple days ago.....

I believe that the cadaver route ends up with a stronger ligament than to take one from somewhere else in your own body. I could be wrong on that though. If I were him id go that synthetic/cadaver combo that that skier did. Id want that ligament as strong as possible.

debatable...some say it's more likely to fail, due to it not coming from your own tissue...It possibly could be stronger, but your own material seems to heal more naturally and thoroughly....JMO....

Has anyone ever seen a case where a guy has a torn ACL and describes it as pain free?

It almost seems like he is in denial that he has a injury.

The nerves haven't totally regenerated, that usually takes well over a year. So that might be the reason it didn't really hurt.

I used to....the ankle injury, plus the check downs...I was upset...I told an internet buddy of mine that I'd give him 2 years.and that was in 2013..Now, he gets a pass as long as he's a Ram...Seriously pulling for this dude....Good things happen to good people, most of the time...All Sam & fans have to do is ride this out...Lets not pull another Kurt Warner and run this guy outta town....So, give him his rehab time, let him go on the pup list if necessary in 2015...Look at Percy Harvin...Davis of the Panthers...Bradford is finally ready, just gotta get right...

Harvin is a great example. He's got all the talent in the world but has barely played in 2 years. Bradford is frustrating from the standpoint he has all the talent in the world, just can't stay healthy. We're all frustrated as fans because this should of been the year of Sam. Now it's not and whether it ever is again remains to be seen.
Sure hope he comes back better than ever but only time will tell.

Breaks my heart. I can't imagine how hard that must have been hearing that news again. I've been a fan since day one and have always liked the guy. I was really pulling for him and truly believed this was the year to shut up the doubters, and it sucks he doesn't get the chance to do it. He's my sons favorite player too, and was so excited when Sam signed his mini helmet last year. He talks about it all the time, and was so upset when he got hurt again. Whether you like him or not, you can't deny he's a great kid, and you have to feel for him. I was so pumped up to see him at the season ticket draft party. They showed video of him going through the rehab process at different times during the recovery (2 weeks, 1 month, 2 months, etc..) and to see how hard he was working to get back .. then they brought him out on stage and he looked super buff and excited. Crowd was excited, and you just had that feeling that he was going to put it all together this year... and boom. Let's all hope he comes back stronger and stays positive.

I just got around to watching this. Man... I don't see how anyone could not be rooting for this man. He's one of the good guys out there, a true love for the game, and a great voice for the franchise.

I want nothing more than to see him bounce back and have success WITH the Rams!

Serious as a heartache, X. Someone has to forward to KD and the FO about that Experimental ACL surgery so they can at least consider that. I've had specialists who hadn't considered something until I brought it up and in my case, my neurologist was the Chief of Neuro at UCLA and one of the best in the country at the time.

Cain't hurt to bring it up, right?

I saw that. I hopped on twitter and saw yours, so I retweeted your tweet!

C'mon guys! Start punchin up the twitter machine!

Oh, and I tweeted about how Sack City is the worst name for a defense. Ever.

If Sack City is the name of our D, does that name female fans #bagladies? male fans #bagmen? despondent fans #sadsacks?

.... I could do this all day, btw...

Sam should make his agent agree to restructure draft QB first next year and let Bradford have it his to lose plain and simple. If he comes through big then pay him after 2015 and keep grooming a top tier backup for a while to either start eventually or trade value
