I don’t know about that either. Run game match up?

Then The Rams won because of run game match up against Da Bears.

I want to make sure I am following you. I am speaking specifically about our ability to match up, and run the ball, offensively. So much of our offense goes thru that... and I realize a lot of teams can say that. But for us, we really need a run game to do a lot of the stuff we like to do offensively.

So, yes... the Bears did not totally shut down our run game... we rushed for 161... that was good enough for us... and the offense moved the football and scored 24.

Our run game matched up good enough. (y)

The Rams are 7 overall vs 26 last season.

The Bears defense was ranked 8th against the run.

My point is there isn’t much of an advantage there. The Rams got lucky in a lot of ways. I’m a down & distant guy.I think just like in basketball , in the NFL there is so much about runs.

An example was Pittsburgh almost gave up a big lead. The Seahawks were not as lucky.

Johnny Hekker won special team player of the week. Without that effort & a couple calls or plays it would have been a totally different game.

That's why I'm not worries tbh. People are talking about us having the hardest remaining schedule, but we have four games against the Cards and Seahawks - McVay is 10-2 against them.
Having been at that travesty of a game in Seattle last year (when the entire stadium knew we were going to win, but GZ and the football gods intervened), I am uniquely convinced that we will beat the Sea-skanks both times in regular season, and once more in the playoffs if we match up.

That's all I have to say about that...

In order to get in we absolutely have to beat Arizona twice. I would love to get Seattle twice too, but if we only get a win over them once we need to beat Arizona twice. They are just as good as we are with us having a slight edge at QB and a decent edge defensively. But Kyler Murray is a play maker, and while playmakers can at times result in more costly turnovers; they can also sway the game in their favor with the use of their legs. I'm worrier, like legit worried but if we beat Miami I'll be a little bit more confident but not by much.

Seattle x 2
Arizona x 2
SF
NE
Tampa Bay
Jets
Tough second half.
If we end up splitting our NFC West games (3-3) and say, beat NE and the Jets the Rams finish with 11 wins.
That is likely about the high end given the schedule.
Tough for sure but I whole heartedly agree with you. I feel like the most beatable teams in that bunch are the Jets and New England. If we beat Miami this week we will be at 6-2. Add the Jets and New England which are high probability wins and we pretty much have 8 at some point. Do we really see Sean McVay losing to Seattle and Arizona twice? If things go our way we could end up 10-6 with a low end potentially 9-7 and the chance we really just wet the bed at 8-8. We did have the benefit of a hot start against less than stellar teams. But the Rams are who they are at this point with the potential to get better. We are an above average balanced team. That's are greatest weapon, balance. Arguably that has been New Englands greatest weapon; so I'm not mad at it because you are never completely out of any game.

So the Rams have played the NFC East, which was such an easy schedule.

And the offense has performed slightly worse through 7 games than McVays previous teams - further examination of our schedule shows why:

5/7 teams are too 12 in yards per play allowed - three of them are Philly, NYG and Washington and at first glance, you may question that and ask why not use PPG allowed?

Because those teams offenses are so bad, they've given up points - but yards per play allowed is more of an indication for how the defenses have performed. The only caveat being they have played each other, which might be inflating the defensive stats - but the they've all done pretty well on defense outside of those games too.

We have the Bucs and Niners left who are good in this category - but the AFC East teams and Seattle are really bad, and the Cardinals are 13th. So we have seven games left whose defenses are arguably worse than five of our first seven opponents - I think the offense will struggle with Tampa but other than, starting this week, will explode. Miami gives up 5.0 yards per carry...

Great find FrantikRam. I never would have thought that we
were in fact playing against some of the better defenses in the league.
Here are some stats that are similar to your point.

Kyler Murray is not a passer, so that play making ability scares me no more than the way that Russell Wilson has routinely been handled by the Rams of recent past.

With that said, you are absolutely right about beating AZ twice...has to be done.
