Interesting stuff.

I cannot comment on the 79 season (I was seven, and the NFL wasn’t even shown in the UK back then), so only know those players from the history books and video footage.

Out of interest, why did you put Lyght’s 99 season above Ramsay in 21?

Lyght had a Pro Bowl season in 1999, and blocked a kick in the Super Bowl. Ramsey had a good season in 2021, but his playoff run was a bit spotty. It was close, but I gave Lyght the nod.

Can't argue with that list. Look how many MORE 99/01 (the only 01 player u listed that wasn't also on the 99 squad is Aeneas I believe) players are on there than 21...

Which begs the question... Who's gonna be your coach??

If only Nolan Cromwell catches that pass from Bradshaw. Woulda been a totally different outlook over the years.

My only question with that list is Von Miller? 8 games as a Ram and 4 postseason games? And then left for mo money? I'd put Hacksaw Reynolds in or Mike Jones. He did make the tackle that won the game.

Von had a huge role in that championship, but I get your critique. I would not quibble with giving Mike Jones the nod.

All good choices

could add in
PR Az-Zahir Hakim (99)
KR Tony Horne (99)
ST Ivory Sully (79)
LS Jeff Robinson (01) Not sure who is best at snapping but Robinson could play some TE
H Nolan Cromwell (79)
Des pass rusher- Leonard Little (01)
5th DB- Dre Bly (01)

prob would need to pick a 3rd safety, too.

I would pick Jeff Wilkins or Matt Gay over Zeurlein. Greg the leg was 1 of 2 in the Superbowl.

QB has to be Matt Stafford.....and you can make a strong case for Big Whit

No. As great as Stafford and Whitworth were, Warner was the league MVP in 1999 with monster numbers and Pace was the anchor of one of the best offenses ever.

Forget Will Smith GIF

Thanks, I'd almost (not)forgotten that play...
